Loot tables aren't part of a resource pack. They're a seperate download that you put into your map's data folder. The loot tables I made were just designed to incorporate the texture changing features, but stuff editing mob drops or changing an item's data to add special abilities is not something resource packs can do.

As for other CIT packs out there, I've only seen two on PMC so far, but I can't remember the specific names. One adds an assortment of Terraria items to the game, while the other adds an assortment of Super Sentai items. That's about it though.

    Understood,thanks!

Actually, texture packs cannot change loot tables. ItemBound has a loot table, but it goes in the saves folder of your world, and not in the resource packs folder. All ItemBound's loot tables really do is for example, make a creeper drop a piece of leather named "Creeper Hide." The texture pack, which is used in conjunction to the loot tables, will make any piece of leather called creeper hide look like creeper hide. The "Creeper Hide" will still function as leather in crafting recipes, but will not stack with leather. (because of the name nbt value)

    You're missing the point.

Loot tables can not be changed in this way. Abilities can not be added too. But the texture is easy to change.

There is this one problem; what you said does exist, which is called "Itembound".

Loot tables can be changed in that way.
    Ablities can be added too.
And the texture is hard to change.

So, if you have anything that is like Itembound, then stick to the rules I have given, or simply say "I don't know, but {name here} could know." or something like that. Your comment is pretty much like saying there is no such lifeform known as "Human" in Earth.

I don't get what you are doing.

You mean you are going to make a free resource pack for someone?

Are there any reasource packs that uses Optifine/MCPatcher (Optifine prefered) to :

    1. Change item textures through renaming them to specific names (and maybe with specific enchants)
    2. Change the loot drop tables
    3. And give special abilities to some items

other than the famous Item Bound resource pack?

If so, please link them here (if not possible, tell me it's name) and give a brief info on what it does.

Guess no one saw that. So I will post it again. If I get nothing at all, I will be reporting to the admins.

So, from the title of this thread, it sounds impossible, but I mean something.

In one of the Minecraft videos in Youtube, I saw that it is possible to rename an item to change it's skin, without editing the actual skin of the item in the game.

Can someone tell me the easiest way to do that?
