Minecraft crashes every time I click video settings. I have 3 mods installed; Modloader, toomanyitems, and Single Player Commands.(Also, I deleted the Meta-Inf)I try clicking on it with the default texture pack and with the one i created, but it keeps crashing? HELP!!!
Hullo, my world is on harcore mode for some reason, but it's a world that I don't want to lose in case if I die.
Is there ANY way to turn off hardcore?
This happened when we updated to 1.0.0
Also, could a mod that I used have turned it into a hardcore world?

My brother used the mod where you have NPCs and villages (Millenaire or something like that?) but I didn't play my world while it was installed.
Well,use something to give yourself the supplies needed to not die.
I use INVedit,you can use that to give yourself a very strong set of diamond armor,and set the damage into a negative.
Having the set in a negative damage means it has more durability,and I think that prevents any health damage to you.
Also,don't go out at night...creepers and spiders will kill you.
This update with the hunger bar is to make an actual use for potions,as well as to step up the realism in the game.somebody with a arrow shooting through his eye cant eat a raw piece of pork and be healed instantly.It adds strategy,instead of the simple "Eat:Attack:Get hurt:Eat:Attack:Get hurt:Repeat" you now have "Attack:Get hurt:Add distance and attack with bows"

And guess what,the update itself didn't only "strip" your beloved slapping porkchops on wounds,it added a feature to pvp too.
You got chargable arrows!It adds skill to using a bow,and it adds to the hunger bar pvp part of the update
Instead of eating and attacking with the sword,now you have to make distance and kill your opponents with bows until your health regenerates.
When you add it up,it makes sense.
You see: PVP - Fast eating = No skill
What it is: (PVP-Fast eating)+Healing potions,chargable arrows and mid air attack crits= Lots of skill
If you would have looked at the bright side of the update,you would of seen that PVP is still ok.
