    This would make furnace and chest minecarts a thousand times more useful, and fits into Minecraft better than some sort of train linker. Also, think of the creative possibilities.

    The devs have gone out before and turned down additions for not being 'Minecrafty', which is a sort of magical, medieval genre. As cool as planes would be, the closest we would ever get is a Wright brothers sort of borderline glider. And that's a stretch.

    The dragon doesn't drop Elytra. I have seen some YouTube series that have command blocks set up to do so, so I could see how there could be some confusion.

    While many complain that the Illagers don't respawn, think of the overpowered emerald farms that could be made. A couple hours of AFK, and suddenly you have a double chest of emeralds and totems. I however would prefer that at least the Vindicators respawn, if at a reduced rate. It would make turning the mansion into an instant base a little harder.


    On a slightly unrelated topic, the Evokers should have at least double their current health. If you watch AntVenom's video on the mansion, he storms the Evokers before they have the chance to use their fang attack, which is actually quite deadly if he were able to use it.


    I hope I'm not getting those names switched. They sound so similar...

    posted a message on Strange issues with the Ender Dragon

    I have two different issues with the dragon in separate worlds.


    In my first world, created in 1.8, the revamped dragon fight was working fine until 1.10 (I think), when the dragon death no longer created a gateway. One time he even gave me an extra egg (no complaints there).


    In my second world, the issue is both simpler and more complicated. It's simpler in the way that when I place down the crystals, nothing happens, and the crystals are still in my inventory, however invisible until moved. The complicated part comes in when this particular world was recovered from corruption via the method detailed on the Wiki. I can understand how the fight would be broken, as the world was created in 1.8, corrupted in 1.8, and recovered recently in 1.10.


    There's probably no hope for the second world, but if there's a way to fix the first issue that would be great. Right now I'm just cheating in a gateway every time the dragon dies.

    Especially after the dragon, I prefer a sort of "Survival Creative" playstyle, where you tackle creative-scale projects, like building a city, in survival.


    Another option is just take whatever you can hold in your inventory (which will be a LOT in 1.11) and walk until you find a cool place to make a new home. When you get bored, just do it again. I once had a world with about 6 different bases, all in new and interesting locations.

    posted a message on (Request) Massive Overhang

    The title says it all! I'm looking for a seed with the largest Ext. Hills overhang you can find. At least 30 x 30 blocks or so on the underside, but that's flexible. I know all the sweetest overhang generation was left back in the Beta days, but this seed has to be for the newest generation algorithm (1.7+).

    I agree, one time I didn't find my starter chest until had gotten well into my world, even after I beat the dragon.


    I also hate getting robbed of my torches, they're a life-saver the first night.

    Just because a bug (especially a redstone bug) exists does not by any means make it bad or exploitable. Take quasi-connectivity and traditional BUDs for example. Both are technically "bugs" that Mojang recognizes but are left in the game due to their sheer popularity and players' reliance on them.


    Also, as far as I know, translocation pistons still work. Mumbo Jumbo made a translocation device using the new Observer not long ago. Perhaps it has something to do with your elevator being a vertical machine.

    I'm looking for a seed with a plains biome (on the smaller side) near/at spawn bordered by a large Extreme Hills biome and a Forrest biome of any kind (regular, birch, roofed, etc. ). This will be for a private Realm, if that gives you any direction. I hope I'm not getting too picky here, but if the hills biome has a large overhang in it, that would be excellent.


    P.S. Keep in mind this is my first post, so please don't murder me on the details.
