that was a joke man. point was animals shouldnt be killing themselves. i shouldnt have to constantly be checking behind myself to make sure my pet aint about to leap head first into a pit of cacti.

Not constantly, whenever you enter somewhere dangerous, check behind at least and make sure to not be stupid and sit near lava or anything dangerous to realize you hear your pet getting killed, if you enter anything dangerous, check behind every minute

This sounds more like a You problem than a suggestion, you even openly admitted you're not the best owner, If you want Advice then keep watch of your pets, like make sure to look behind to see if your dog is gonna fall or die, for a horse, you need to build a Horse Pen and a really good one, just be careful what your actions might impact on your game that gives you such deserving

posted a message on Add the Aether as an actual dimension
    Quote from Agtrigormortis»

Having it be a dream dimension I can't see this idea being well received tbh, in fact being forced into this each time a player uses a bed would be a nuisance because there would presumably be no way to disable it legitimately unless it was activated by having a mysterious new item in inventory.

And what would a dream dimension entail? immunity from death? dying in the dream dimension doesn't cause the player character to die but instead just immediately wake up from their bed with all held items and XP intact? doesn't fit the survival theme of the game. Not even the mushroom island biome is this inconsequential and that's just a rare biome that exists on the Overworld where no hostile mobs can spawn, but you can still die from environmental hazards like drowning or falling.

Nice mention, it would be annoying if every time you sleep makes you dream and walk around, passing the night? Screw that, instead be stuck in this Dimension till it's Day Time, Idc if it would tp you back if you die, but it won't make a difference

    Quote from StabanGaming»

Add the Aether as a dimension when you fall asleep you would appear in Aether and could build and explore until you would die from falling from the floating Aether Islands or die from a new hostile Aether mob.

Hello everybody. The Aether would be a very fun update cuz you could travel to it when you fall asleep in your Minecraft beds.

first: elaborate this dimension, what is useful about it? Should it provide something we need?

second: we shouldn't make it to where you sleep and you could travel there, if it is meant to be a dimension, then sleeping won't work as in it would be more of a dream than a dimension

third: you might wanna drop the "it'd be a very fun update" plot as in it'd just be a nuisance and it won't give positive thoughts at all

posted a message on Upgrading the O'l Pillager Outposts

That's the point, the outposts are...Well, outposts, those are just towers that use the same method for Pillager Patrols, supposed to seek out new places, the outposts and patrols are the exploration for Woodland Mansions, however I recommend the mansions to be more guarded than their smaller structure Outposts, I do think for Pillager brutes, I could make a mere model for it but I don't feel grazing around Blockbench for it so I'll just give you a model of something unrelated to the topic just for the sake (supposed to show if Mojang planned to add more Sculk variant mobs, this one would be recommended)

posted a message on Waterlogged Mangrove Roots Should Grow Dripstone
    Quote from Vierbo»

After testing in creative with accelerated ticks, I realized dripstone blocks with waterlogged mangrove roots above them and pointed dripstone beneath don't grow more pointed dripstone. This should definitely be changed to allow pointed dripstone to grow from the water source if it's from a waterlogged mangrove root

That is not what mangrove is, pointed dripstone is stalagmites and stalactites, rocks that are pointy, water only flows through them because they drip, that's their name, mangrove is a swamp with new wood, which I think they should add mobs that fit in Mangrove, not for dripstone

posted a message on Windy Plains
    Quote from SomaticCash»

There are a bunch of different factors that have inhibit the player from progressing in Minecraft. With quick-snow and Mudd being added, the old rain, and other weather obstacles I think we can add another factor: Wind.

It would be quite a task to introduce a feature that moves a player without their will. And that is what wind would do, move the player either forward or backwards, I think this would be amazing. It would introduce a whole sortment of different elements, not only naturally generated in certain biomes, with this idea we could see other compartments added. Thus would introduce fans.

I think we could do it just like how some clients have certain features called jet packs. And another think that could be added, is a new mode of transportation. Jetpack! With fans underneath. So many ideas spring into my head, but what do you make of this idea

That's like suggesting that zombies give flowers, wind moving you against your will is both annoying and stupid, I'm on a mountain and I'm AFK for 5 minutes and wind has already pushed me off the mountain and I lose all my stuff, that's ironic!

posted a message on Redstone Schedule Block
    Quote from Agtrigormortis»

Even with the Scheduler Block, daylight sensors would still be needed, because they would be set to turn something on or off by dawn or dusk by default, you don't even need to intervene except for flipping the switch to day or night mode which is straight forward even a preteen can do it.

I did agree with you that Scheduler Block is a good idea, but it has a different purpose than daylight sensors, your Scheduler Block suggestion would allow players to schedule tasks that take place any time of the day, and if desired, trigger something more than once each day, it could be 2, 3, 4 or 5 times per day but otherwise be predetermined.

It could also be used to make time bombs with TNT, which would make for some interesting PVP competitions,

players needing to find and defuse the bomb before it takes out a building and them with it.

Even without PVP though I'd love to use something like this for a neon Clocktower design, as a bedrock edition user,

I don't want my redstone circuitry bugging out every time I leave the server and then joining back in again.

I fail to see how daylight sensors would remedy this, daylight sensors as you said would only detect something at dawn or dusk depending on their setting, but beyond that they're not very precise, they certainly don't detect noon, so forcing redstone lamps to display 12 o clock when it actually is mid day, is clearly out of the question.

Yeah but contractions on making a timer with Daylight Sensors are stupid because I don't like it and it's whole purpose is to sense either of the time, schedule blocks make it to where it times up with seconds and a lot easy to use since crafting it would be: Iron Ingot on each middle side, lightning rod on the top center, a daylight sensor in the middle, and a a row of redstone at the bottom! Which may be a bit of work but it makes one block than having to have the right blocks to make a whole contraption!

And it is a block that would keep its timings no matter if the player logged back out and back later. After all this time Mojang still haven't ironed out the most annoying bugs with redstone, but this would be hard for them to mess up, because we are dealing with a block that actually does Schedule Tasks depending on the time of the in-game day and night cycle.

Yeah it's supposed to be like daylight sensor but on a more better scale since it doesn't limit the day and night cycle but what time it will be, it is easy to use and people needed to make a redstone contraption that sets off TNT when a block was broken before the Observer, when the Observer got added, the whole breaking block trap was easy! Like my schedule block is INCREDIBLY easy to master, which sets off a whole different Minecraft that'd be pretty cool when this block can get added but it might not get added but we have no idea so we can expect the unexpected but yeah it's pretty darn cool for something scheduling a redstone contraption as it helps a lot of newcomers!
