echonite- Thanks for the tips! I will try it out. Hopefully this works cause I was really hoping to make my treck from my mine to my house faster and easier. Also, I agree that update is gonna be a nuisance. Thanks again!

Anyone know where Minecon '14 is going to be located??

I have been trying to make a minecart railway go from my mine to my house and its not working as easily as I thought. I have used a piston to push the furnace cart and minecart on the tracks but I can't put a rail in front of the piston because then the piston won't move to push the carts. I've tried putting a rail one block away from the piston but then the piston doesn't reach far enough to push the carts. I've also tried gold rails and have turned them on to see if they would help push the carts but they won't. I'm stuck and don't know what else to try. I have done some research and have tried what they said and some of it makes no sense. Could someone please try and explain how you did it? (I play Minecraft on the 360 by the way) Thanks!
