Note that the patch has not been released in the United States yet.

I know that, but it didn't fix that many things though. I didn't notice any difference in gameplay with the patch and I was building, mining, fighting mobs, it was exactly the same as before the patch, so regular things stayed the same. Considering all the things you said, it didn't look like you actually cared about the patch.

I haven't run into too many problems, I've imported two PS3 Edition worlds to my Vita and they both work fine, but if I want to import my Vita Edition world to PS3, the percentage goes up slowly, around 1% per two seconds, then jumps to 60% and goes fast, then jumps back to 50% and downloads. As soon as it reaches 100%, it gets stuck there. I left it for half an hour and it was still on 100% until I exited PS3 Edition.

Then I have ghost blocks, the game is sort of out of sync with breaking and placing blocks at times, it's most noticable when I want to build something quickly or when I'm branch mining. With Nether portals, the screen gets dragged down instead of spinning in circles which is an eyesore.

Other than that, the game works fine. The short render distance isn't really a problem for me.

It's ridiculous really, when you have a android phone where minecraft is better than all the other console versions, the PSVita should at least be able to run the game smoothly, but no...

I now understand why it will only launch physicaly in november, it's beucase WE are bug testing the game! I want my money for reporting what you guys should reporting yourselfs!

Really now? This is the initial release.. A patch fixing a crash and a few other things has been released. Obviously they won't be able to see every single bug in the game when it first comes out.. Just give it some time and the bugs will be fixed. If you didn't want all these bugs then you should've just waited a bit for 4J Studios to get a chance to fix all the bugs the people have been reporting.

Also, "when you have a android phone where minecraft is better than all the other console versions"? Okay so a version of Minecraft without the nether (with its mobs and potions) or the end (with its boss), no fishing, no boats, no enchantments, no sprinting, no sneaking, no proper redstone (working redstone circuits), villagers without trades and wonky controls? Not to mention the rest that the Pocket Edition is missing.. Yeah sure, Pocket Ediution has more blocks, infinite worlds, the Vita won't be able to get infinite worlds due to save size limits. The Pocket Edition will gets updates, but so will the Vita edition, I'm sure the Vita edition will be closer to PC Minecraft faster than Pocket Edition since a lot of complicated PC Minecraft content has already been added in. I'm actually surprised it's performing this well, considering it's an initial release.

Last thing "I want my money for reporting what you guys should reporting yourselfs!" So you expect 4J Studios to single out every single bug in the game by themselves? That would take long to test out every single feature in the game and every mechanic that will work with that specific feature. If there are a few thousand people playing the game, singling out bugs will be a lot easier, like I said, you can't expect a game's initial release to be perfect, especially a game like Minecraft.

Oh.. What I find funny is the fact that I saw it when I first loaded up Minecraft PS Vita and just ignored it, since I just wanted to jump into the game :D

    Thanks :)

Jeb Is The Only Guy That Is Working At Mojang

Excuse me? I said Mojang devs (developers), Jeb was the founder of Mojang along with Notch, Jakob and Carl.. Jeb's not the only one that's working at Mojang. There's the original dev team as far as I know. Just about everyone except Notch, Carl and Jakob are still working at Mojang, which is now owned by Microsoft. You mean to tell me that Jeb is working at a company all alone? I'd like to know where you got this information from.

Microsoft hasn't made any public decisions from what I've seen.. Basically what's happened is Microsoft bought Mojang, but the Mojang devs are still working on the game. I think that Microsoft is gonna keep it this way and just take a cut of the profits instead of turning this into Minecrosoft and ruining the game.

    -snip-

One problem though, I'm not sure if it's my Vita or the game, but once when the game was autosaving, it crashed. I lost out on a half hour's work in that world, but at least it was basically just filling up my map with the whole world. -snip- That was the first time it crashed while autosaving. It could be my Vita because I haven't really turned it off for a few days or exited the other game I was playing, I just put it in sleep mode so can anyone please tell me if they've also had this crash while autosaving.

Other than that, things work as they're intended, redstone, farming, the nether, the end, like I said I haven't really found too many bugs and the ones that I have found a pretty common and should be fixed soon. Right now I've killed a few blazes and I'm getting myself ready for the Ender Dragon, just gotta kill them Endermen get some more arrows and I'll be good to go. I've really enjoyed the game so far, maybe just because it's a lot better than pocket edition in my opinion. I was expecting it to be boring since I played Minecraft so much on my PC and PS3 but I just found it so fun.

Okay so the crash while autosaving only happened that one time, times before that and after that were successful. It was probably my Vita spazzing out. My current world progress: I found a stronghold while branch mining so now I just need to kill more Endermen. I stole the books from the stronghold and made a level 30 enchantment table. Now I have a diamond pickaxe with Fortune II, Unbreaking III and Efficiency IV :D

Another thing, how does the ad hoc work exactly? I don't see any options that say ad hoc (maybe I'm just missing something?) and I'm pretty sure you can play this through ad hoc without having to be signed in to PSN. I'm asking because my friend plans on getting it soon and we might see each other soon so I just wanna know how the ad hoc works. Thanks in advance to anyone who answers :)

I've been playing the game a lot as we've been going places. There really aren't that many bugs that I've experienced, just sometimes blocks tend to hang for a bit before it shows up that you placed them and ghost blocks that occur for a half second after you break a block. The game runs really smoothly, just when you look at a place with a lot of leaves like a jungle, the framerate goes down a little bit, but it's not bad at all. Travelling through a nether portal is strange, the nausea effect pulls the screen downward instead of going round in circles, which is a bit of an eyesore. Also with sticky pistons there's a bit of a rendering glitch sometimes with my double piston extender, just that the block that's being pulled disappears and re-appears instead of looking like it's being pulled but bugs are bugs and they shall be squashed.

One problem though, I'm not sure if it's my Vita or the game, but once when the game was autosaving, it crashed. I lost out on a half hour's work in that world, but at least it was basically just filling up my map with the whole world. I found 2 villages, sorted out my chests then as I was returning home from getting melons from a villager, autosave and crash. That was the first time it crashed while autosaving. It could be my Vita because I haven't really turned it off for a few days or exited the other game I was playing, I just put it in sleep mode so can anyone please tell me if they've also had this crash while autosaving.

Yes, Endermen commonly spawn in twos, it's just that you often find that the one has teleported away from the other one so people genrally think that they spawn one at a time.

Minecraft for PS Vita is essentially the same as for PS3, world size is 862x862 blocks for both versions according to the Minecraft wiki. If they weren't the same size then there wouldn't be cross-save.

EDIT: World size is actually 864x864, but only the inner 862x862 blocks can be used.

I'm glad the MC forums have relatively nice people like you.. On things like YouTube comments you just see a comment that says "Why is this not on console?" then there are hundreds of replies from dumb fanboys saying "No PC is better because graphics and FPS" I can't really stand those people who are just one-sided.

EDIT: Not saying there aren't those annoying console fanboys, they're also one-sided.

Yeah, I love platformers action/adventure games, especially combined. I grew up with Ratchet and Clank and I got Jak 3 a long while back. I played the Sly 2 demo through Ratchet and Clank 3 and liked it. When I heard there were gonna be trilogies for all these (Lol a trilogy of trilogies) I was so excited and I got the Sly Trilogy first, got the R&C Trilogy as a birthday present and got the J&D Trilogy a few days ago, borrowed it from my friend before.

I can't really find myself playing many games on PC though. I just love using controllers and playing through a console. First person games like Minecraft yeah I can play nicely, but I prefer consoles, just because of using the controller. Yes I know you can use controllers on PC, but I just wanna hop into games and play without having to map specific buttons to PC buttons for certain games and a lot pf games don't support controllers without external software.

PS: Sorry for the story of my life and random explanations.. I just felt like I had to put that in.

PPS: For everyone who says "PC is the master race" please don't start an argument now, I just gave my opinion.

    Thanks for reading.

I play either Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, Terraria, Need For Speed or Sly Cooper when I'm not playing Minecraft. I also play Assassin's Creed and Skyrim, but only when I have a chance to borrow them from friends :)

Damn but the PS Vita version has taken long. Oh well, at least now I can know that I only have to wait 6 days for it to be out. Still feels like 6 years though.
