People will judge you on how you act. Your grammar, your professionalism. Both are lacking. Your grammar tells people that you don't proofread when you type. That could mean your coding suffers as well. Your seeking out mods that pay, more than someone so new should be working on. Stick with one project at a time, focus on one thing, or people will see you as only interested in getting paid, rather than making quality code.

michaelm101303 posted a message on Connecting Mojang and Xbox accounts.Posted in: Java Edition SupportHello everybody. I have been having trouble with figuring out how to connect my Mojang account with my Xbox live account. I want to be able to connect them so i don't have to repurchase Minecraft on the Microsoft store. I want to use the Microsoft version so i can play cross platform with my Xbox friends when I'm on pc. Does anyone know how to connect them?

stanleythebuilder posted a message on Minecraft Classic ModePosted in: SuggestionsI honestly can't understand why Mojang hasn't considered this yet but here it is:
Minecraft needs a classic mode.
The game is developing and changing so much yet some of us liked it for the simplicity that it held.
A lot of us just want to go back to the nostalgia of minecraft's earlier days and you may argue that
we could just boot up an earlier version, however a lot of these versions hold bugs and no real multiplayer
compatibility anymore. Why not create a classic version that has fixed bugs and good multiplayer support.
I'm sure a classic version of minecraft would attract a lot of earlier players and would quite possibly bring
in a better community which in return, would make multiplayer more enjoyable again.

gnatpiz posted a message on Pardon my rant....Posted in: DiscussionWell, I'm not much of a gamer, I like to build, and I do that on PS3 or 4. I got the java because a co-worker has a MASSIVE world on his private server and I want access to that to learn about design, redstone devices (he has lots of both) and probably most, I want to cultivate my ability to "think" Minecraft. I'm not good at that right now...

Minecraft was born on the PC and bloomed because of it's flexability and modability supported, or at least not hampered by, Notch. So, the full Minecraft experience with proper modding and java pluggin's is only really available on PC or Mac not for the feint hearted; Utilities like Forge can make this experience a little nicer, but given those utilities are generally maintained by an informal group of open source coders one should not expect it to be pain free (and also, in any way they might hurt MS earnings their not going to be supported, and its pretty easy for MS to make game changes which will make it near impossible for third parties to adapt).
Saying all that, I do agree your core point, Joysticks have been around forever and theres never been a good coordinated effort to just make them work (mainly because its a profit model of many modern businesses to make sure they only work well with their equipment, games etc).
Why I was real sad when Notch sold out to corporate culture, Notch was really "one of us" and some members of the community rather let him down, though he let us all down.
Still at least the remaining community is rallying :).
I'd highly recommend, unless your suffering some disability making Joystick your only option, you learn the Keyboard Mouse architecture which Mojang has perfected well. Good luck.

I agree that controller recognition should be a thing for most if not all games. Windows can figure out what buttons something has when plugged in. Why can't it just be programmed in to use that?
DING! DING! DING! Give that man (or woman) a nice Cuban cigar!!!
Why isn't the programming done? Laziness. I also find it interesting that the game looks totally like a DOS interface...
BTW, I work on Battleship Iowa in San Pedro. Thanks for all the tax $'s. Please send more... -

Try updating your graphics driver, AMD graphics cards are good at messing up Minecraft if the driver is old.

gnatpiz posted a message on Pardon my rant....Posted in: DiscussionJust below I have another thread about attempting to adapt a controller to work in minecraft pc.
Bloody hell, am I frustrated and p.o.'d. Tried Steam, Tried Input mapper. Tried controller companion. Tried a xbox one controller. Tried a PS4 controller. All the same result. Works right up to when minecraft boots, then, nothing but mouse.
I'm too old for this crap. Old dog, and now I gotta learn new tricks (i.e. keyboard/mouse minecraft). Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Why is this so hard? Why can't software developers just provide the interface? I mean, really, is it that far out of the realm of possibility that someone might WANT or NEED to play with a controller? Last option is to find if a local shop will install for a price. Nice. More $'s.
Yeah...grumpy old man wants to punch walls. The Youtube vids look oh so easy. Printed instructions about the same....except when I don't have a clue as to what they're talking about. I watched one where the demo STARTED in the Steam library, assuming that I knew how to even get there. Dude, really? I ain't dead yet but jeez, why am I kicked to the curb?
Xbox controller's getting returned, useless to me. PS4 controller stays with the playstation. The 26 bucks I paid for Java sure ain't gonna get much use for a while. Right now, I've lost a lot of respect for Mojang. No mods for console, but the nice textures, and mods of Java? Sorry grandpa, you gotta learn a whole new system. Pay attention, kids, that is NOT how you build customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Nice crappy start to Superbowl Sunday....
Rant over. -

1.13 doesnt run as lean as other versions, downgrade or deal with it because at this point theyre pouring more focus in the bedrock edition of the game because the language its written in is alot faster compared to java and they can reach a larger demographic with console versions, windows 10, and mobile versions of the game.

No prob!

probably should have put that in a spoiler lol,
It appears theres some chisel compatability issues going on, make sure youre on forge-recommended and the latest version of it, lemme know what happens next!

yep, so it should look something like this:

are you using a .bat to start the server? if so add pause to the end of the file to make it not autoclose, from there copy paste accordingly

Crash log?
