The guy was refering to the free classic version, maybe he just said it wrong.

No,because a message just poped up saying I have a unlicensed copy with a sad face. I would like to purchase the game, plus 1.8 is coming out which is what drew me to Minecraft and after playing the free version off Minecraft.net. Which I revived builder status and could add water to my buildings etc..but the map get's wiped and I can't save my buildings. I want to play the single player survival mode I was just playing! It is incredibly fun and crazy addicting!

Its called pirating. Its the act of stealing games, videos, movies, and other digital things. I'm very much against it but alot of people on these forums do it alot :sad.gif:

I see, I was sent a link to a tinyurl or something watching youtube to download the game. I was looking at issues regarding mine related to not being able to purchase the game and because of purchasing problems through minecraft.net. Kept rejecting the card, and many others are having the same issue. More than adequate funds, but locked me out now. Comes up still with "User not premium" after the denial of multiple times on the card, it then says, Purchase success. Account still not active however through minecraft and no charges made to the account, but now I am locked out for 24 hours which is ridiculous because of a "Moneybookers" issue. Really frustrating not being able to purchase this legally. They are going to lose out on a lot of money if they don't fix this soon.

Just like the title says, considering buying the game still, but what are the advantages of purchasing this game compared to the single player survival mode that is played for free through minecraft.net when it says. "Download"?

This only proves the issue that is growing, I have the exact problem and can't purchase the game but was locked out.

    Credit/debit card deposits disabled

You can not use your credit/debit card for the next 24 hours.
This restriction cannot be lifted manually by you or our service team. Please return to the website of the Merchant where you will receive further instructions.

And the funds are more than adequate. The US is $21.95

I having issues as well. If you Google search this issue, it is a cascading of recent issues when purchasing minecraft. I think it is a problem with Moneybookers. I am waiting for a response from Moneybookers as I just filed out a support request email to them. I will keep you updated along with myself. :smile.gif:

I've waited four days and no dice, anyone get their game? If so how long did you wait?

Interesting. Perhaps I should just not bother buying this until they fix these issues. I can't even pay for it with a credit card. It just keeps rejecting it. There isn't much support on the issue either. I am also seeing this on Google search as a growing concern. Not Good.

posted a message on Why is purchsing Minecraft so troublesome..
I went out and purchased a "pre-paid" gift card to purchase Minecraft. Registered the gift card, as instructed on the credit card at the time of purchase before I make a online purchase.(Activation is immediate) Then I go to "minecraft.net" to buy the game. Register, and enter my credit card information. Then it get's denied,ok......so then I click "try again". Then tells me it is denied again. So I go back to "mygiftcardsite.com" and check available balance. Balance is still there and no activity present or "charge". I make sure I entered everything in correctly and try it again, now it says I can't try it again for another 24 hours!!!. That the purchase has been disabled until then. Really frustrating as previous transactions with pre-paid cards has never been a problem until I purchase Minecraft. I am not the only person to have this problem as I have found out.

So a hour later, and researching on Google. I find out that "Moneybookers" is blocking me. Now I am really frustrated because I am in the US and the phone number is only provided for the U.K. There is a email for support from there site since Minecraft doesn't have much support at all. (Not complaining about that), but I now have to register to yet another site to just ask a question on why I am being blocked. I also find on Google search this problem is plagued on the internet when you type in Minecraft purchasing! Why is purchasing Minecraft so cryptic and frustrating, already a red flag is when I saw that Google search and tutorials on "How to purchase the game" got my attention. This "lock out" per se, is quite common. It is a problem with Moneybookers. I am tempted to just torrent this game and not even bother with purchasing the game. I enjoy it very much on the free version through the browser but buying this game is troublesome.

Sorry if anyone takes offense to this post, but it is quite frustrating to purchase Minecraft. I would love to get to play this on my next two days off and this weekend. I do hope they fix there purchasing hassle. I do not! want to setup a paypal account, and I do not want to use my debit card. I purchase pre-pard cards for a reason. -Thank you for reading this, and perhaps a solution to this problem I am having and many others. Sorry for the rant, I am just irritated. I was kidding about illegally getting this. I am just pissed I go through this hassle to make a "simple" purchase.

Can anyone help me further. I am in the process of emailing the Moneybookers support, to attempt to dig for a resolution. The hassle is I even have to go this far is ridiculous.
