I'm interested if you need a map. I currently have a 7G large map and I'm looking for someone who wants to run a colonial or 15th to 18th century themed server with it. If you want to discuss us it, let me know and we can add each other on steam. I also have a small scale community that we might be able to merge together.19 years old, steam - Emprease
Good news. I was hunting for the chunk by just painting stone on or beneath y1 and a null error popped up! Meaning I identified the region. Removed and readded and now the export went all the way through! problem solved : ) Thanks for the help mate!
I'll post an actual gallery in the creation section as soon as I can figure out how to get an overhead render of it on my mac

The world was simply created tracing over a large image I drew. It's on the bigger side of most maps. Custom terrain only has 4 presets. Mossy cobble with stone mixes, a sandstone one, and an Ice block. I've exported the world many times before, but only now after deleting a large part of the eastern ocean to add some room for more land to the south have things been mucked up. I can see no problem. however, when working on the map last week, some chunks just disappeared and were white like the background of worldpainter. In fact, it didn't let me use the program without sending a error log every few seconds, so I deleted the group of chunks and readded them, which worked. The problem ended. now I'm getting an export error. I can export smaller portions of the map. There has to be one broken chunk or at least a hand full that's causing this. Any way for me to find out?
edit: it actually exported, the error popped up, but a lot if not everything exported. Something may be broken, so I will spend the next week looking for what chunks are missing or whatever. This is a 4G map at least, so it will take time. If you can figure out what custom layer or thing is causing this I'd truly appreciate it. You guys have helped me out a lot in the past, so thanks for the support!
I'm getting an error when I try to export. It looks like a few chunks are causing the issue. How can I tell which ones, or at least how do I fix this ?

Okay so here's the main concept. We have a gigantic world, pretty much split east by west, which is going to take place during the colonial period in a fictional world. I need a lead developer who can communicate with me via skype or teamspeak (preferred). I'm apart of a pretty small community of people who have dabbled in colonial themed server in the past. At the moment I desperately need someone to fund a basic server that can host no more than 30-40 people at a time with some custom plugins.
I have a teamspeak channel we can talk on, that a lot of the small community I'm apart of sometimes chills in.
We'll need the following:
* Server hosting (I'm willing to help pay)
* Muskets
* Cannons
* Simple race or class system
* Sign Shops
* And other crap like towny!
* A dev who reads and knows that there is no IP for the server that doesn't exist yet
Thankfully we will already have a little boost of players to jumpstart our server when we're ready to launch. The map is finished and I can go into further detail in that if you'd like. It has custom ore generation (tested for balance to hell and back.) and fantastic gradual and transitional biome painting. It's optimized for gameplay but extremely aesthetically pleasing at the same time. If you're interested in this project and what I already have to offer, Shoot a PM or message below! I'm willing to take on no more than 3 lead devs : )
Anyways, thanks for reading. I'm no good with forum posts so I'll leave it at that friends.
Okay so here is the problem I am having.
I was playing on a server then left for 1 minute, then tried coming back on, but everytime I do so, it just says "Disconnected by server/ Took to long to log in."
I have the same version as the server client, got a new version of my minecraft.bin, and can see people inn the server atm
Fixed By deleting everything in my minecraft folder ;)----

This guide will help you all with the best places to visit and build on while playing this server. Players have worked hard on it since its release and we all hope salexp and his team deliver the updated version as fast as time allows them to. <3 you all devs.

Great job mate. Amazonia and New York City will rise (I hope.) I just need people to build summer homes in amazonia :< new york developed quickly in just few hours, and it does suck currently, needs more skyscrapers, needs to be an urban jungle.
Estonia has the best flag in the world imo. Tobad no more ussr...
Anyways, I'm loving the server so far, everyone's so real, and everyone gets along great :biggrin.gif:
I can see the player limit is 20, and you guys already have 20 players white listed, but please let me join in if the cap is increased. If I'm accepted I would like to claim Brazil and Peru, but I can make due with anything. Also nobody has south american countries yet...However if you would like to keep people close together Ill claim Sweden and Finland, or help Kite952 in Russia or something. :smile.gif:
Hey I cannot log into ANY servers anymore for some strange reason. I keep getting, "Outdated client."
And I can't delete minecraft from my computer.
PLEASE HELP! D:
