Reasons for wanting to play on this server: I've been looking for a SMP community to settle into after usually only playing with some friends. The Civil Consortium seems to be exactly what I've been looking for. I'm very interested in the community you are all working to create and the chance to role play, especially in the big picture of working in and on and town (specifically, I am especially drawn to Nova Roma).
How long have you been playing Minecraft for? I first began playing minecraft several months ago. I originally only played creative and participated in building servers such as those owned by World of Minecraft. A few months ago I bought the game and began playing survival off and on where I mostly focused on mining and building towns. Most recently, I've built a large lava lit light house, a medium scale bridge, and a rather large walled town covering the gist of an island. This is the first time I've actually created a forum account, though. Previously I only lurked and read.
Experience playing on other RP servers: As I mentioned, I haven't played on any public/non-friends only minecraft servers. I have, however, been playing MMORPG's and the like for several years such as Darkfall and Mortal Online where I would role play lightly.
What are your goals on this server? (What are you going to do?) My main goal, as I've mentioned, is to help build both a community and world in the server. I'd love to help out building, mining, and such. I'm looking forward to begin putting the time I spend on my single player work into something productive for a community like this.

I'm also a big FPS player and have played Counter Strike and Counter Strike Source for 5 or more years. I also play, more actively, games such as Bad Company 2. Overall, though devoted, I am a generally causal player. Outside of gaming, I am a student in my late teens. I live in the US, specifically Boston, MA. Besides all of that, I'm a pretty average guy.
