Why would you like to join RetroCraft: I have played on about 3 mindcrack servers now and they have all gone down in about a month, including the one i hosted. I have always loved mindcrack and I would really like to join a server where i can just have fun with other people who are looking for the same environment.

The poor conductor asked for a good old American Thanksgiving meal with turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry sauce, a piece of pumpkin pie, a cup of black coffee, and a cigar; and so he ate his turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, and ate the piece of pumpkin pie, drank his cup of black coffee, and smoked the cigar. The next morning, the prison guard came to take him to be electrocuted, but when they flipped the switch nothing happened!
They took the prisoner back to the cell and checked the electric chair and found nothing wrong. That night the Prison guard came back and said that this was going to be his last meal on earth and asked what he wanted. So the poor conductor said that he wanted Roast beef, corn, mashed potatoes, a piece of apple pie, a cup of black coffee, and a cigar. So he ate the roast beef, the corn, and the mashed potatoes. He ate the apple pie, drank the cup of black coffee, and smoked the cigar.
The following morning, the prison guard came to take him away to the electric chair. After he was put in they flipped the switch and nothing happened again. So they took him back to his cell to figure out what happened and nothing was wrong with the chair.

So he had a huge stack of pancakes with real maple syrup, bacon, and sausage, a cup of black coffee, and a cigar. So guys i would just like to say the only way this server will really be up is if i can get a lot of interest and if the server i am applying for falls through so far we have not had that many apps (even if they were pretty good) just letting you know

2. not quite sure what you mean by this.. if youre refering to mindcrack - it is pretty similar. relationships are becoming closer and closer ive noticed as the server has been ageing. If youre talking about the way i describe the server, it is accurate to that.
3. im careful who i whitelist and i keep on top of peoples behavior with each other. everyone seems to be quite mature
4. As the server is fairly new (Just over a month) people are mainly working on their own bases and foundations. There have been a few pranks, mostly minor. However i did have a 100 block tall snowman put over my house haha. We are planning on pranks, good ones take time - getting to know the people well so the prank can be witty and not just a mess.
5. Not particuarly. Ive set up something just to accomodate the spawn-protected spawn chunk. Some outlines for plots have made and the begining of a walkway path has also been made. As i said before, getting our bases and foundations is more of a priority than a spawn village at the moment. If you do choose to apply and if you get accepted, feel free to work on it however. Im sure myself and others will be happy to contribute.
6. No. I have removed a few due to unexplained inactivity though.
7. I sure hope so. The only issue that would get in the way of this is payment, and i can cover the costs, i do hope a few more will start contributing money though (australian servers are 3x more expensive than american/europe ). But yeah, the payment isnt a huge issue really. The only other issue i could think of is if people just stop playing, but ill manage those situations by seeing if finding new people will help or if theres another reason.
The server has not been griefed, nor do i think with the current people it ever will be. Most people in the server are 18+ so typically, more level-headed than servers with younger people.
I read your forum post, and it gives off an uptight feeling. We are pretty laid back on the Nirvana server. I say this because in your rules you state that people MUST have and use skype, here we encourage it but if you dont want to, thats fine. You also say people must be on for several hours a day and be in the server for years... in the Nirvana server we have our regulars (including myself) that are on quite a lot, ive probably clocked 200ish hours in the past month. But i try to stress the point that life does happen and sometimes you cant get on or just not feeling it. If people are going to be away for awhile, i like a notice saying whats happening and when they may be back. A few havent left any notice, so they were removed. As i hope the server to be up for a long time so we can really build towards something great, i do hope our people will be on for years or whatnot.

I think i am going to go ahead and apply. Thank you a lot for replying to me. On the note of me being up tight that is not it at all. I tried starting one of these servers before and a lot of the guys were immature despite what they put down didnt follow the rules we got greifed etc... Pretty much everything bad. I was also on another server where the guys were just plain morons some of them rude and did not have good pranks, The server stopped just after a month of being up. So in my post i was just trying to make sure it would attract people who really knew what they were doing and were serious about this. Not in a serious manner but not little kids who wanna fill someones house with water and such. Also the time constraint thing on my post was again to keep away people who would leave unexplained abscenses and such. And no you did not ramble on it was quite informative thank you! Im asking this because i have started one of these servers myself and also because I was on a server i put 50+ hours into and he just stopped paying for it im looking for a server where everything is not greifed up and the players know the boundaries and how everything works very well without being babysat or being whiny and such. This is a decent application, However i think it needs more detail for instance please leave examples on the acceptable prank part. Also explain what about the server you are familiar with and how it works etc... I would like as much detail as possible, Please redo this and add more detail pretty much everywhere and i will re-look at it.

I had one up before for a few months but do to griefing and bad players it had to come down. The latest server i was playing on had a bad admin and he stopped the server all together when people had 100s of hours in buildings. These things may have happened to you or you may be looking for the best fan server you can find. Well let me tell you, you have found it! We are trying to stay very true to mindcrack so we want MATURE players a friendly chat going on (Goodbye how was your day etc... if you watch mindcrack you know what im talking about) We are going to have pranking as well as games and even ultra hardcore! We are looking for players who will dedicate MASSIVE amounts of time, we want players who will never quit the server and will be playing for YEARS. We will also have a page listing the members of the server and their youtubes( if they have one) as well as their skype. Now for the rules and the whitelist app.
Rules
1. No griefing (this is an obvious one and no pranking is not griefing. Just use common sense.
2. No retarded pranks, Try to find something that will take people a bit too clean up but i would prefer creative pranks (once again you should know what im talking about if you watch mindcrack.)
3. No disrespectful chat, I would really like this to be mature so you can have witty banter with people but make it creative
4. You have to be willing to play around 6 days a week and put in at least 2-3 hours each day you play. You also have to be willing to stay on the server for YEARS.
5. The spawn village and nether hub are NOT built yet, i am going to leave them to be partially built by you guys.
6. You must have and use skype, and you must post it in your app, we will use it for games and a call so everyone can contact each other.
7. Use common sense ( this is probably the best thing you can have on this server)
8. I really dont want to have to ban anyone who joins i will however ban them if they go to far in something MULTIPLE times. If you go overboard with a prank once i will let it slide of course but as long as it isn't straight greifing you are fine.
