Looking for someone to Admin this with me. I need some help with anti-grief (water/lava). Just generally new to MC it would be helpful to have a #2 :wink.gif: Looking for someone familir w/ a linux environment (running on ubuntu) and parameter config for the server and addons. Server is 2 days old, and looking to keep it up and improve.

Kicking you had nothing to do with race or location. You never even mentioned it. You just kept rambling on about American property laws and going in peoples houses touching things. It's a Minecraft thing, not a Serbian/American thing. You were bothering other people, and messing peoples work up. It was plain and simple.
If someone made comments to you about your race or country; sorry but it wasn't me.
Backups every 30 minutes. Server restarts every 4 to keep everything fresh and lag free.

This is a BRAND NEW server. It's hosted on a VPS and will be up 24/7 and should be lag free. I want people to come fill the world with their creations! I am looking for some advanced builders to assist in setting up a town around the /spawn point and will commission them with some in-game currency. I am also looking for some mods to assist when I am not around however these are not immediate positions so please don't log in and expect to be one.
A webpage and forums are coming shortly. I plan to implement a map system (through google API) w/ real time positioning for players.
I am looking for one additional Admin that is experienced with server setup (linux), and anti-griefing. Please PM me if you are interested - include resume :tongue.gif:

Once you've been around for a while and we can see you are trustworthy we will promote to builder so you can use water/lava blocks responsibly.
Currency/Shop System
/money for current currency
/money pay <player> <amount>
/shop buy <item, see below for names> <qty>
/shop sell <item, see below for names> <qty>
Prices:
All prices are subject to change, these are rough starting values
Shop System is setup for selling and buying (at 50% of selling prices)
Players gain 100 coins per hour logged in to the game, in addition to anything earned from trading.
Everyone is free to buy/sell/trade directly with each other and form their own economy around what the store has to offer also. I don't want the store to be the primary source of goods, but as a fallback when items may not be available for player purchase immediately and at a higher cost. I've seen servers with "Item Exchanges" which require valuable mod time. I believe the shop's sell high buy low feature is a good alternative for a 24/7 system which allows you to get what you need when you need it while keeping inflation down.
Vault System
The plug-ins for this are implemented and working. I have a vault setup and once a player has been around for a few days I will set them up with one. In addition, you have one locked chest that only you can access anywhere you please by using !lock, then placing your chest. It's indestructible and only you can see what is in it.
