All I'm really trying to say is that from a language standpoint you can only have one 'greatest work'. Now you can have multiple great works that at the time seemed like your greatest work but in reality weren't because you then went beyond them later. But in the grand scheme of things what you believed at the time to be your greatest work wasn't really because in the end you surpassed it. The real difference in our opinions is that you are looking at the thing in the moment and I am looking at all the things in all the moments (to put it in internet english) to decide if it is in fact the greatest work some one has done. Really its all a matter of how you look at. So in the end we are both 'technically' right in or given perspectives they are simply from to different points in time.

How ever you said greatest work. To continue with your comparison to artists, one could argue that Da Vinci's greatest work is the Mono Lisa, but he painted the Last supper before that (unless my dates are wrong) and when he painted the Last supper it could be argued that that was his greatest work at that time but after the Mono Lisa was painted she was Da Vinci's greatest work simply making the Last Supper a great work. Some ones greatest work is only achived when they have reached a point where they can no longer improve. For all intents and purposes it is a perfection of their own style or technique and can therefore not be exceeded by that same person and every thing before this moment of personal perfection is simply a highlight on the path they took and was in fact never their greatest achievement.

To be plain (something I don't enjoy doing): A person can have many great achievements, but only one Greatest achievement.

I'm not ashamed at all to say that I haven't had mine yet. But really how do you gauge your greatest accomplishment and if it really is your greatest accomplishment then you might as well stop playing because nothing you ever do could be as great so it would all be down hill from there and with the very ephemeral nature of minecraft if your accomplishment is a building or something else you made it will eventually be gone. So why think about your greatest feats when you should just think about the next one. Great or small.

I think most people get that. It's just simpler to explain thigns by useing a commly understood behavior. Even if it is not the clinical defination. Coarse then someone will get offended.

I think we need more tolerance in the world and less getting offended.
