As of now the game has been updated. The sprinting has been fixed and a couple other issues I've had. Glad it could be fixed.

It's not specifically the mechanic that's ruining it, but it's the timing between analog pushes that make it annoying. You can push the stick forward once then do it again 3 seconds later and it'll activate sprint. They need to reduce the interval between analog pushes so that it's not so finicky. The only thing that I do like about the change is the fact you can sprint backward in creative, but that's relatively it.

Honestly, I hope they do revert back to the old sprinting mechanic because what they did just makes it a whole ton worse. Hard to build without flinging forward in speed.

posted a message on Saved worlds reseting on load

First: Move the game itself and all it's data to an empty flash drive and attempt to play the game as normal. If it works then there is an issue with the game and the flash storage in the console.

If the game is already on an external storage device then attempt to move it to the main console if you have the space and attempt to play the game as normal.

If nothing works then delete the game and reinstall it and let us know how it goes. But try the first two things first.

(I've never had this problem but I know a couple people who do and it's quite strange honestly)

But yeah. Try this and let us know how it goes!

Then again like you said, it may be a remainder, or they might increase the map size, who knows?

During glitching out of them original map you become stuck in a small space about two blocks high. Just enough room to squirm around but after moving around a while the game will allow you to move freely and you will hit invisible blocks and also become stuck. There is water but it's not swimmable. It just creates water particles. Also using an eye of ender seems to lead away from the original map into the void. If you fly up there is no invisible blocks but at a lower height there seems to be invisible terrain.

posted a message on Possible Proof Of Infinite Worlds Coming to Console

I made an amazing discovery. Some of you may know of a fun glitch where if you cram a bunch of TNT mine-carts onto a track and jump into them then you get shot sky high. Well as i was doing this today, I ended up glitching outside of them map which was cool within itself. What was more interesting was the fact that there were invisible blocks that i could walk and jump across, as if it were normal terrain. (Just invisible) So with that being said I remembered that the recent title update came with a small tweak where the maps were "Numbered" ex: "Map#1" "Map#2"

But why? This was only seen on PC for infinite worlds since one map was simply not enough. So why was this on the consoles? So I decided to pull out a new map and use it since I clearly wasn't on the original map anymore. When i created a new map i was greeted with a whole new blank map which was of course called "Map#1" since the original was #0. This is really amazing. Why is this feature here? Clearly the outsides of the original map were able to be mapped themselves. So maybe they are considering infinite worlds? There are attachments for you to view for proof. What do you think?

posted a message on A many of problems. Carrots not planting and World Seed: 0

This is fairly strange. I've had weird things happen but this is beyond explanation. But I try to explain to some that it might be a result in faulty software. The game is fairly new to the console and its liable to have a range from small to large bugs and glitches. Although I've never had this specifically happen to me, I can tell you it has to be a glitch of some sort. I have seen people's worlds where their game mode would change without notice. Even seen the texture pack change in-game. I have also seen a world where it was as if someone was flying around invisible destroying things and posting creepy messages on signs when the world didn't even have host privileges on and the host and the rest of the players were with me the whole time. There is no logical explanation other than a glitch or faulty world or software. I have a world with a seed of 9999999999. And it's still like that.

If it becomes a constant problem the only thing i could imagine doing is uninstalling the game or going to the settings and copying the game to a flash drive or external hard drive then remove the flash drive and then re-install the game to the system memory to see if that fixes anything. if it doesn't then just delete the game off of the Wii U hard drive and then re-insert the flash drive and move the original game back onto the hard drive.

    Hopefully it gets fixed.

posted a message on Minecraft: Wii U Edition has a problem with Wii U Pro Controller!!

TO ALL OF YOU WHOM HAVE THIS PROBLEM

although it is not normal. I don't have any problems anymore so follow these steps to hope better your experience.

    1. Restart the console (Sometimes the controller configurations get corrupted with newly added software)
    2. Try not to push or nudge any analog sticks while turning the controller on, as this may result in unusual behavior
    3. Disconnect the controllers in the home menu and turn them back on (Only press A and wait for them to fully turn on)
    4. Go into the system settings and delete all paired controllers under the Wii Remote Pairing section. Then re-sync the controllers.

I have done all of this and I no longer have any problems. I haven't had any problems in a while, and I have a Official Wii U Pro controller and a 3rd party one. I hope this helps somebody.

It can't be a problem with the controller. Minecraft Wii U edition is still fairly new and some parts of the software might be faulty resulting in unusual behavior. Hopefully this helps :)

posted a message on Map sharing

Mojang/ 4jStudios would need to create some new service to allow map sharing or distribution. Same would go for adding it as an in-game feature. Making this feature possible wouldn't be easy. Maybe some kind of game host where you can upload a maximum of 10 maps per Nintendo Network ID and are added in a mix of maps you can download. Or give the maps their own special ID (Similar to Super Mario Maker)

It would be great to do this. Or have some way to easily access other people's online servers.
