I think I fixed it. My minecraft is now launching forge and seems to be in working order! What i did was restore my graphics card setting to an older version. I have an Nvidia graphics card and apparently the newest version is causing people problems with minecraft.
This is almost exactly what happens to me. Someone! Please shed some light on this issue. I've tried reinstalling the modpack I'm running, tried reinstalling the most recent java versions, including the 7th version; tried running different clients to run the modpack, updating Win 10 to latest update, deleting the library file for that instance of minecraft; and yet, I'm still getting this error!
I've been trying to run the Terrafirmapunk modpack, for those interested. And I've tried to launch another modpack too, Technofirmacraft, and I'm still getting crashes. However, running normal minecraft works just fine.
