    I keep getting this error when starting minecraft after patching. I believe it to be because of my graphics card.

    here i have a Scene close to Notches.this picture is to back-up some of the info said here:
    (this is at sundown, so notches pic MAY be at sunrise unless he fixed the chest bug..)

    As you can clearly see the block on my left is in the SAME position as notches, this is a placed block..i am also standing 1 block higher than the chest is placed..(seems to be exactly to notches..)

    also the clouds are transparent in mine to point that out. :biggrin.gif:

    this proves 3 things:
    1. he is standing on a block higher than the chest.
    2.there is no "Left-hand" its just a block.
    3.the clouds are no longer transparent in 1.8?



    You missed one thing...
    The chest in your picture is forced to face west.
    The new picture shows the chest facing east.

    What if they steal the chest your dimond blocks are in?
    It seemed our "friends" the wolves had the sole purpouse to push us off clifs and into lava.

    Anyone know if they can move player placed blocks?
    It would be rather annoying If and enderman/farlander stole your diamond block.
    Also I hope he adds a use for them, like a useful block or item.
    We dont want the wolf incidents again, do we?

    This is how a music block works, it loops the same song over and over.
    This is untill another music block is triggered with a different song or nothing.
    Nothing will obviously stop playing anything.

    I dont like asking for help.
    But unfortunatly I cant get my head around wrighting complicated scripts for myself.
    Does anyone know how, and if it is posble to make an item so when you use it the item is consumed and it give you a speed bost for, say 10 seconds (or more) like a speed potion.
    Also I need it so a sponge block sets fire to you(I am going to use this in conjunction with some fire resistant boots so the boots cancel out the fire damage, but I can do the boots). I think I know how to set the fire level I just dont know how to make it search for if you are standing on a sponge block.

    I compleatly agree with you about the zelda maps.
    Thus why I purpously made mine into a non-zelda themed map. With the exeptions of the built in zelda themed things and adding bomb bags and quivers. (Thanks to the wiki) I think it adds balance to the game meaning you cant stockpile 1000 arrows or bombs from off the bat.

    Finaly I would advise taking down the speed of the speach. I found about 2 - 2.5 seconds per line is a nice amount in my experimentation. But im not the fastest reader and I am open to sugestion if anyone thinks otherwise.

    Ive seen it done before.
    unfortunatly it dosn't stop the painting from being destroyed but you can do a script to consume and unwanted picked up items. such as paintings, sand or gravel.(due to the glitch where they fall on torches ect.)

    its consume.item(//item id) I think.

    Making scripts toggleable is a very nice Idea and should help me organise my scripts for my map.
    I have all of my scripts currently in one script file.

    You have been a great help and what I have played of your map so far is unique and well made.
    I hope to see you do well in the future.

    one final thing. do you have any tips for sucsessfuly walling off areas in which you do not want people to go. I find doing it by hand takes a very long time.

    I noticed how only one script is set for the config.
    how did you get scripts such as "quiver onupdate" to work?
    Do you use script blocks?
    Or does the game automaticly see that it is for the quiver and that it needs to run every update?
