Background: Ventus Everglade was born in the small village of Ramhorn and grew up there for many years, until his 13th birthday when he was conscrpted to join the king's army. The king gave much trust to Ventus and eventually sent him on a quest to secure the king's brother, Mathus. When he arrived, Mathus was found dead with a long spear protruding from his back. The soldiers, thinking that Ventus had done it, locked him away until his hanging. When he was thrown in the cell, he went to the rotted window and, with his amazing elf strength, pulled the bars free and escaped.
He traveled for many years in the endless forest, when a mysterious figure appeared in the road before him. Ventus longed to see another human being, so he began to stride over to it. Then, he felt sickened and colapsed. When he awoke, he was no longer in his home land, in fact, he seemed to be in another world entirely.
