The minecraft wiki says it can be used underwater to produce seagrass.

Add-on, or mods... Minecraft sites need to get their words aligned! So what is the correct word for Forge??? I don't see a category for Add-ons (Better Together) at the Minecraft Store within Minecraft. I see categories, such as Worlds, Texture Packs, Mash-Ups. Add-on is not a precise term, in either Java or Better Together (Bedrock)
Mod is the correct word for forge.
I think Add-ons are also called "Behavior Packs" in bedrock edition.

I wish Mojang wasn't being so condescending lately. Saying "We've ruined the game again." is just bad. They're starting to create a culture that dismisses all complaints as coming from irreverent kids, no matter what context, even when it's a person with a lot of maturity saying why there's something actually wrong with a small or big part of the game. The attitude here is that everything the community says is bad is a statement that needs to be made fun of, and that nothing negative about the game is valid because "oh, that's just a whiny person who loves to complain, his opinion is completely irrational".
Is there any specific examples you have in mind of this happening? -

Jeb has stated here that the Phantom will only spawn if you don't sleep at least once every 5 Minecraft days (about 1 hour in real time).
Meaning, for example, if you play for 3 hours straight, you would only need to about sleep 3 times - once every hour, to avoid Phantom spawns.

My prediction is that it will only spawn if you don't sleep for a few nights. Meaning that you can go for longer without sleeping.
Its also supposed to spawn at high altitude, so maybe if your base if too low it won't even affect you... -

Are we talking 1.7.10 or 1.12.2?
It appears that in 1.7.10 they are CrystalConstruct1, CrystalConstruct2, CrystalConstruct3, CrystalConstruct4, CrystalConstruct5, CrystalConstruct6.
It appears in 1.12.2 they are crystal_construct_living1, crystal_construct_living2, crystal_construct_living3, crystal_construct_living4, crystal_construct_living5, crystal_construct_living6.

You can regen a dimension by going into the world file and deleting the "region" folder inside the folder labeled Ancient Cavern (should have ancient cavern in its name somewhere).
Spongeforge might be the problem. You can try removing it to see if that fixes it.

What version of Minecraft did you create your world in? The world generator has changed in some versions, so the same seed will no longer produce the same world.
The only way to get the exact same world back is to go to the version the world was originally created in, and create a world in that version, then open it in a newer version.

Again, what version are you playing? I'm pretty sure nighttime messages can be disabled in the config in the 1.12.2 version. Sounds can be turned off in the sounds menu, I think in 1.12.2 they are split up so you can turn off the Ambient/Player sounds and it should disable them.

What version of of the mod are you playing, and what version of Minecraft? Most of the UI can be toggled off in the 1.12.2 version. Events can't be turned off but I think you can disable the event messages in 1.12.2 as well, not sure though.

Looks like a conflicting datawatcher value? See if you can change a datawatcher value in either Advent of Ascension's config or the config of ckathode.weaponmod (whatever mod that is).

Are you using the 1.12.2 snapshot of the mod? There are no mobs in the snapshot yet. It is still in development.
