I figured out the Minecart issue. I only float above the cart when a dispenser puts it on the track. If I place it myself, I'm in the cart like I should be.
When riding a mine art you float above it, you aren't actually in it. In a two block high tunnel, this causes your head to go inside blocks without being suffocated.
Beds do not work as a respawn point. I have already tried destroying and replacing the bed.
Enchanting is broken. 30 levels and all I got was punch 1 on a bow. Another 30 levels in a pick axe got me u breaking 3 while other times that gets me unbraking 4, efficiency 3 and silk touch.
Same problem here, no melons to be found anywhere in my jungle, the only way i could have then is i found seeds in a chest inside an abandoned mine.
Also about friendly mobs, ocelots are no where to be found, and villagers disappear even on peaceful mode, i had all gone in just a 10 minute span, i had to cure 2 zombie villagers to be able to populate the village again, but they are not multiplying not even after trading with both.
I made a village from cured zombie villagers. Mine don't de spawn and do breed. Build a two story box house (It can be temporary). leave the first floor empty and fill the second floor with doors. Put your villagers in the first story and they will start to breed. Hope this helps
It seems becons are broken. With haste 2 and a efficiency v pick you should be able to insta mine stone among other blocks but it doesn't work it just mines it at normal speed.
Does your beacon have an open space above so the light can reach the sky? If not fix that and it might work. My beacon works, but for speed two.
I love Minecraft and am very happy about the new things added in the recent update for the PS4. There are two things that I wish they wouldn't have changed though, the first is boats. The old way of controlling them was much better. It is harder to steer now (at least in my opinion) and I try to avoid using boats because of this.The other also has to do with transportation. L2 used to eject you from minecarts, boats, etc., now it is L3. This isn't terrible, but I didn't see a reason to change it. Just fixing the boats would make me happy though.

If if I reinstall do I lose my worlds?

Not easily. But if you are a few blocks above or below where you want the dispenser and place it it will work properly.
Also, beds do not set a spawn point as of the new update.
