I think this is a good idea, but I would rather see it implemented in the same way as Skyrim, where you don't have to pick your job from the start, but rather your skills go up just by doing whatever you do, or they could have some skills separate from your job. It would be cool though to have a monster hunter sort of job where you can get better defense and damage separate from armor and enchantments.
The main reason i wanted it to be a forced decision is because it will reset if you create a new world. So if you are joining a new world you will be at zero similar to how the game plays right now.
you cant bring materials from one world to another so i felt it would be good to keep the stats the same and keep it fresh and give people a reason to make new worlds also to try new jobs.
Hi everyone im here today to offer a wonderful idea that i think would make this game that much more enjoyable for everyone.
The Idea i have for minecraft is one of an rpg nature.How nice would it be to have the option to enable a skill tree that each player could build upon while inside a survival world.
When i talk about a skill tree most people will think of an RPG game, There is an example on one under the text.
When you talk about a skill tree one would come to think what kind of skills could a player learn in minecraft?
I thought about it aswell and what came to my mind kinda blew me away.
What if when you started a game of minecraft you were forced to make a decision? The first choice you made would determine the major role you want to perform while you live in your current world.For instance when i join a new world i could be made to choose 1 out of 6 different jobs lets say farmer,lumberjack,miner,animal breeder,explorer ect.....
Each job would have its own set of enhancements for the player to work towards while in the world while also once obtained will give the player percentage boosts for whatever jobs they have chosen.
for example if i choose the lumberjack job one of the skills that i would unlock could make me chop wood at a faster rate,boost the amount of wood you get from each block broken regardless of enchantment or type of axe used ect...
We could have class/job specific skill trees ingame that would make things that much more fun for everyone and of course make it optional.
I think that 8 Jobs should be added for console just to make things cool for each player on a server and give a reason to look for peopel who are good at using a speific class/job.
I would love to hear what other jobs people would like to see added and if so why?

The main goal for our world is to just have fun and build Medieval,Rustic,Natural looking homes and structures. We just started the map about a day or two ago so we have plenty that still needs to be completed.
Im not the type of host to make a bunch of rules but i would really love to have these simple rules followed by any person that comes to this server.
Violating any of these rules will get you kicked/banned so its just not worth it.
1) No Griefing!
2) Mind other peoples space! Dont build on someones land or too close to other structures unless given access to do so.
3) No stealing from others!
4) No PvP unless both parties agree to fight to the death!
Its really just common sense kinda like the bill of rights lol but anyway if you wanna join in just swing me a msg and i will invite ya we will also be broadcasting on a regular basis through PS4.

I want to try and make everything realistic as possible or atleast make it look legit.
I know alot of people watch tutorials and thats ok as long as you are making realistic structures(everyone learns how to build in different ways)
As of right now im making the Downtown Area Roads and would love to have some good builders join in and create something epic.

Hi everyone,Im new to the forums of Minecraft but i have been a long time fan of this game and genre for years. I have found the time in my busy schedule to actually create my own 2D game similar to terraria and minecraft. I was wondering if any veteran texture pack makers would could give me a hand on creating some 32x32 block tiles for this project. I know that this is a longshot,but with me being a Lone Coder i am in desperite need for help,
Some of you might ask why im here out of all places looking for texture help. Im here becuase most of minecrafts fanbase know how this style game should be done,half the work is seeing the vision and thats pretty much covered already.
