Advanced physics: This was the first custom server of all custom servers to introduce finite water moving sand and a multitude of other physics to minecraft. The finite water was actually released even before notch had coded his own finite water!
Lua scripting: Nearly all functions within the server are powered by lua which can create any desirable event command or whim you have; from rockets, blocs, cannons, fireworks, water spouts, fans, and a multitude of other pleaseible entities.
A.I.: With the servers lua the ability is created to introduce A.I. to the server from mobs that chase you to randomly walking about mobs that can agress you, such as creepers that explode into a firey ball when contact is made, 100 Notches that worship you, and a flying Quatroking.
Map Generators: Using the lua we can create map-generators that nearly no other server has, and we can generate any map we please with lua from fractals to islands to entire cities in the blink of a eye.
Monitoring modules: Using HTML modules we have the ability to monitor every aspect of the server, from map threads to physics threads, from server cores to the very players connected to, such as their connection speeds. It also allows us to see exactly what they do on a map and how much memory cpu and % of the physic thread it takes.
Gamemodes: With the amazing lua this server utilizes we have the ability to create a multitude of gamemodes, such as Tetris, Fallout, RP. The Fallout gamemode is quite simple yet surprisingly fun a large grid is filled with yellow squares that at first turn orange, then red, and the finally dissipate, the objective is to not fall off the ledge :smile.gif:. The RP gamemode is amazingly advanced and thought out, it involves full blown crafting, mobs, and resources, along with mining times on blocks. After collecting respective materials you can create materials such as tnt, water sources, Diamond (Teal) and more!
Completely customizable to any possible wish: Ever wanted to see a infinite flood of mushrooms? Or a flower fly into the sky? Well now you can! With a massive list of blocks materials and various other files, you can edit them to give any block unique properties from a simple and easy to use syntax, you can make flowers fly by simple just giving that block the rocket lua function! Or make the mushrooms infinite my giving it a infinite physics property!

Jul 29, 2010I want Titanium, Tungsten, Neodymium, Lithium, Radium, and Aluminum .Posted in: Suggestions
Fairly excellent ideas though I would like the smelting of metals to require a special furnace, a blast furnace or "melting" furnace if you will requiring the addition of a bucket for the metals to be contained in.
Jul 28, 2010Wait what, why is everyone in here being ****ing morons assuming that if Notch adds it to steam, he'll no longer develop it or **** like that. >:l Since there are plenty of developers who market their game for steam.. Like 2kgames Bethseda, I.D, and more.Posted in: Discussion
Minecraft being added to steam would be a glorious thing, with a massive influx of players and revenue for Notch any possible downsides are greatly overweighed by the benefits.
