How would he use it better? Me and Andrew will soon have access to a very powerful vps, both with experienced coders willing to help, and Andrew has a very experienced java coder at his side... Your points are null and you offer no excuse to as why LG would use it better, his status here does not really back it up due to most of it being established ego.

Well sloped blocks would be rather needed if minecarts are ever added due to me not wanting to sail through tunnels repeatedly falling down 1 meter drops.
I think this is a good idea, but instead of it all being one giant server, maybe the global map could be split up into multiple servers, each linked and computing a section of the map.
I've talked to ylt about interserver connecting he mentioned it would require Notch to remove the salt and hash codes aswell as verify names.. So that wouldn't be the best of ideas.
I would really like strictness on sig sizes, because a good majority of the people here have signatures that are ridiculously large and its rather annoying to have to scroll through all those huge sigs that serve almost no purpose.

Why not just have a post-worth feature. It was done on another site and it worked miraculously well. The longer your post is the more worth it had, obviously it's abusable by spaming one word over like
But you could just set a ban rule for that. One warning and the post is removed. Then 3 day ban. Then 1 week ban. So on and so forth. You could even combine the two ideas, post worth is like "experience points" and with so many experience points you gain a level. For every say 10 words you get 1 experience point and you need a minimum of 30 words for any points to be gained. (at 30 words you get 3 xp points so the minimum gained xp is 3 points).
It's a more complex system but it promotes long posts that are valid. Obviously it should be disabled wherever post count is disabled.
Just an idea.
Also in your idea I would be level 31 or 32 if you round up.

That post (everything above the line) is worth 17xp as it's 172 words long. Values would always be rounded down of course. If you wanted to do it by characters (10char = 1xp) 765 chars 76xp (doesn't include spaces).

I tanked through the last 15 with only 2 hearts of health Skeletons are such a ***** to fight in numbers.. Also does knocking mobs into lava count?
