Drugs are legal. If you're talking about illegal drugs, like crack, marijuana etc. should not be legal, because of what they do. People take drugs, and become irresponsible and erratic. Another thing is that when people take drugs, they get hooked. If they don't get drugs, then they do bad things. Bad things = not good. Not good things = Bad world.Edit: 750th post. Diamond Miner FTW.
People don't become "irresponsible and erratic" on marijuana. They just become docile and easily amused. People become irresponsible and erratic on alcohol, but that's legal. And getting hooked isn't automatic. Not everyone who has taken drugs abuses them.

Ok, well let's say that your friends force you to take some drugs, and against your own will, you take them. Then you become highly addicted and start purchasing said drug with out restraint or limits. You then continue to consume/smoke the drug until your body cannot handle it anymore and you die... Your "friends" caused this... not you...This could have been stopped by preventing the usage or possession of drugs in the first place.Keep drugs illegal. And if you have become addicted to a drug, whatever the reason, go see a doctor or seek medical attention right away.
Holding someone against their will and forcing them to do something they don't want to do is already illegal. It's unlikely anyone would become "highly addicted" after having drugs forced on them once. And if drugs were at least decriminalized, there would be help available. If I had something forced on me, I wouldn't go out and buy more. I would seek help if I was suffering from withdrawal.
And making drugs illegal doesn't "prevent" their use or possession. The way things are now, your scenario could happen and it would be very difficult for an unwilling addict to seek help. The way things are now, the victim could be arrested for drug use.

Once again,If somebody becomes addicted to a drug or is suffering from side affects, they might KILL innocent people! Jesus Christ, is it that hard to understand. If you wanna do drugs, go into your basement, lock yourself in their from the outside (if possible), and do as many ****ing drugs as you want. Just do go near anyone.
Drugs don't automatically turn people into maniacal killers. Your post makes it seem like that's what you believe. It is true that sometimes desperate junkies turn to mugging and robbery in order to pay for their addiction. It's also true that gangs and drug lords regularly kill numerous people. Legalizing drugs would take away the only revenue source of gangs and drug lords and put that revenue in the hands of the government.
It has been shown in Portugal and the Netherlands (who adopted the policy) that decriminalizing drug use actually decreases use and drug-related crime. So if you're afraid of drug users killing people, then you should be fighting for decriminalization or legalization.

But cars do not cause murders, and guns are legal because criminals will still get them even if they are illegal. They can be used for defense, unlike drugs. Alcohol may cause that, but so do drugs. It is the primary offender because more people have access to it than drugs, Under your logic, we should outlaw electricity to prevent death be electrocution, knives because they can also be used for murders, and any object that could be used to hit and harm anyone.
That's exactly the point he was trying to make. You can't ban everything that could potentially be abused or contribute to a death. If people want to use something responsibly, they should be able to.
You argue that the reason alcohol causes more deaths than other drugs is because it's more accessible. Alcohol causes 100,000 deaths annually in the US. All illegal drugs combined cause about 6,000 deaths annually in the US. That's 2 orders of magnitude difference. The number of adults who have tried alcohol and the number who have tried an illegal drug is on the same order of magnitude. Tobacco kills 400,000 people in the US annually. The top two killers are legal and all the rest are illegal, but comparable numbers of people have tried legal and illegal drugs. The only conclusion I can draw from this is that accessibility is not a factor in related deaths.

It's hard for me to believe that this is still an issue. People need to learn from history. In countries where drugs are legal, the use of those drugs goes down.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drug_policy_of_Portugalhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drug_policy_of_the_Netherlands#Results_of_the_drug_policyEDIT: Just to add to this, I don't support drugs in any way, I have never used them and I never plan to. I don't support others doing drugs either, but the facts are out there. Legal drugs cause less addicts, because they can get help from the government easily.
It's all about good sense and analyzing the facts. Anybody who understands the reality of the war on drugs knows that legalization will provide net benefits for tax revenue, prison overcrowding, violent crime rates, and public health, not to mention personal freedom.

Apostrophes aren't needed here. Sorry to nitpick, but that's one grammatical error that bothers me a lot.
Awesome guide, the pictures are well done with the examples of why you did certain things and why they work, which is important as well.
