Akire hails from the isles and waters of a sea far west of the continent. Born to race of humanoid shark people, she grew up with a disposition for curiosity. She learned how to hunt, both in the forests and the warm tides. She pondered machines, both simple and complex, and took to making her own for enjoyment. She likes seeing things work, and traveled where she could to learn. Now, she finds herself on Bide, wandering, working, and looking to make some new friends around the interesting city of Akavail.
She is a furious fighter at close range with her claws, teeth, and shortblades but has in interest in, and minor practice with bows.
She dabbles in magic, fire was always a crowdpleaser, She has an eye for architecture (at least in her own mind) and a strong drive to create.
She tries whatever sounds pleasing to her, and tries her hand at as many crafts as she can, just for the fun of it.

You may notice that the rules and general structure of the server offers a lot of freedom to the players. This can be easily abused so we’re looking for a tight knit community of players that we can trust. Please respond to these two RP situations IC. We are looking for at least a large paragraph, preferably two,[/b] for each situation. We want to gauge your RP, storytelling, and grammar abilities[/b] and decide from there. We’re seeing if you’ll be creative and intelligent enough to handle the low restrictions RP and adapt to the ever changing stories you’ll come across.
When writing, RP as all the characters involved including character emotes and talking. Since you’re RP’ing as all characters think and act as you would in-game which means there should be no hint of powergaming in your application like having outlandish powers or automatically hitting someone.

-Out in the wild, you come across an overly protective miner camping outside a cave entrance. He starts throwing rocks at you, barking at you to leave. At this instance, a person can be faintly seen coming out of the cave entrance. Diffuse the situation, and take it from there.
Me: *flinches as the first stone smacks right into my temple, caught slightly off guard. I rub the side of my head and take up solid footing, catching the incoming rocks and underhand tossing them back at the miner's feet as I shout over to him* Hey, hey, calm down man! I'm just minding me own over here, you don't gotta go and make a mess, c'mon!
Miner: *shouting angrily in incoherently, tossing larger and larger stones*
Me: *I swing my tail around and the fins connect with a round stone, sending it flying back at the nuisance. My hands snap over my mouth in shock as the ball-shaped stone hits the miner directly in the forehead, sending him off balance and toppling over a pile of mined ore* Oh, sh**! I'm sorry! *my eyes go up to the second person as he emerges from the cave.*
2nd Man: Christ, Tom. You really deserved that one, huh? *He shakes his head at his unconscious friend before signalling me closer* You, sea-girl-thing. Get over here and help me bring him inside to where we've set up. He's gonna have a splitting headache when he wakes up and I'm not going to be the one blames.
Me: Fair enough.. I'm real sorry about this, sir. Let me know what i can do to help.
She helps the men out for a few days as reimbursement for the setback in their mining schedule before continuing her journey to the city she's heard so much about.
-A player who is RP’ing as a newspaper reporter is questioning a crowd about the recent monster attack in the area. Another player who plays a notorious street thug starts harassing the reporter for money. Interact with them.
The reporter is questioning me about my role in repelling the monster when the thug approaches him.
Thug: Hey buddy, *he grabs the reporter's shoulder to get his attention* you know Big Eddy don't like newspapers. Get lost before I put a hurtin on your wallet
Me: *I try to keep the reporter's attention on me and ignoring the lowly minion, but the goon carries on harassing him* Mister, write this down, too, yeah? You know how i said the creature was rather clumsy, and just really angry? I'll give you a little demonstration on how we sent it off,
*I give him a smirk before hooking my foot behind the thug's knee and pulling as I pull a hunting knife from my hip and press the flat side against the goon's neck in one quick motion, pushing him down onto the cobble street of the village center. My knees land on the sides of his waist as I use my free arm to push his hands to his chest. My elbow keeps them pinned as I turn him over below me and force him to a kneeling position, his back pressed to my chest, my face next to his ear.* Are you a fan of close shaves, buddy? I sure am. *i giggle as I pull the edge of my knife along his jaw and past his chin, taking a thin layer of skin with it and drawing just enough blood to sting for a while. I shove him back down hard before standing up and sheathing my knife, planting my foot on his tailbone and pushing hard as he struggles to his feet to get away*
The following day the headlines read, "Quick-thinking Wanderer saves farmers, reporter from beast and goon"

I need a seed for a build project I'm excited about. I want to make (Build on rather) an island based off of the storyline/quests of the Drunks And Dragons Podcast. This will be the island where Thum Darkblade meets his father on, also his father's empire type deal thingy.
If anyone finds a seed with a good-sized island, one large enough for a fortress, an arena, and large expanse of city + docks, please send it in below. I'd prefer the biome(s) not to be desert or tiaga but something like plains or forest.
If I don't find what I'm looking for I might just learn world edit and make an island, But I prefer natural generation.

I am the oldest in my immediate family of 4(soon to be 5) siblings and my family is the youngest of my cousins so I'm also a good follower. MC: I had my own server for a bit but tech issues forced me to close. I've been mod before on about 5 server, all of which have unfortunately shut down.
Why I want to be staff: Looks nice a nice server and I want to deliver my aid.
What do think you can add to the staff team?: Humor, good leadership to those willing to follow and immediate compliance to those above me. Also, I'm a good builder and gatherer. I posses a good basic knowledge of server functionality and plugins.
