I've been trying to use kamyu's Populate Chests program to fill empty chests with random items on a map. However, whenever I run the program on this world, and a handful of others, I receive a message that says "ChunkDataError". Any information regarding a possible solution would be appreciated.
Can't wait for the Mutant Enderman. Maybe they could drop several Ender Pearls as they're a little difficult to aquire in large numbers in vanilla Minecraft. Or perhaps they could drop a special type of Ender Pearl that could be used multiple times? No matter what, I'm sure they'll turn out incredible.
I know this may have come across your mind or desk or whatever but I think a mutant spider would be awesome. Maybe even better would be inspired by the real life jumping spider. A Jumping spider can jump 50 times its own length so maybe a mutant spider can detect you from 150 blocks away and then jump and pounce you in a single bound! That will keep everyone on their toes.
Maybe blasts you with web blocks to slow you down and maybe even carry smaller spiders on its back to act as meat shields/ canon fodder enemies with low health. I think it would be ridiculous as well as awesome in the boss field. Maybe as a drop it drops a an item that allows you to blast an area with web to slow enemies down.
I agree completely that the idea of a Mutant Spider would be just plain awesome.
1) You have to edit the hosts file on C:/Windows/System32/drivers/etc
2) Add a new line in the end of file:
184.73.223.40 session.minecraft.net

Whenever I try to access the "drivers" file, my computer tells me that Windows has stopped working and shuts all of the files down. Anyone have any solutions?
You awaken in a small room lit with a single torch and a sign with only a simple message inscribed upon it: Escape. Upon breaking free of the dark confines of your prison, an unknown voice, twisted and demented by time, booms in your head, ushering you towards a large forest in which sits The Temple of Valor; A basic structure on the outside that rests before you in a stationary position, no more malicious than a rock. But at the urging of the voice, you go inside, and discover the inhabitants are long gone, after a maevolent force supposedly wiped them out. Once you have entered, there is no may out, and as you venture deeper into the heart of the labyrinth, you will find the true horrors that lurk underground in this foresaken place.....
This map is an extention to my previously released Temple of Valor map, which has since been removed due to this version being far superior. This new edition features:
15 tests of the mind and body
A simple point system
2 side quests
Immersive story full of twists
Boss fight
Trips to the Nether and the End
1-2 Player Co-op
Hidden treasure rooms across the map
Approx. 1.5- 2 hours of gameplay
Played on easy or higher, with the only breakable (but not placeable) block being sponges. Glass bottles are a point system, with 50 bottles at one point each being scattered throughout the map. Hidden rooms and chests are everywhere in the map, each with their own unique and helpful items. Any texture pack will work, but default is what was used when making the map.
The Temple Mark ll has been completed but I won't upload it unless I hear from the people. If I get enough requests, I will put the file up for download. So if you want to see the latest version with 15 tests and the new bonus mission, comment below.
Hey all. I am just now attempting to enter the world of mods and I am having trouble (duh). I installed MCPatcher and ModLoader first, then downloaded the other mods I wanted into MCPatcher. All was going well: I would start up the game and the new modded content was right where it should have been. Then the trouble started.
I approached one of the new creatures in a particular mod (Robozoids) and suddenly my game froze. Thinking it was lag, I patiently waited for my computer to catch up. After waiting for a while, I realized something was wrong, as the world was frozen in place. I used task manager and was able to exit before testing this freezing problem on another mod, (Mutant Creepers) and found the same issue.
Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
An extended version of the temple is now in development with 6 additional tests including a mini-boss fight at its conclusion. I'd love to hear opinions from people who have played this map. Thanks

During your journey, you will be pushed to your limits both emotionally and physically as the temple tests every aspect of your very being. Can you make it through all of the tests alive and claim the treasure at the end? Only a true hero can accept the temple's challenge and defy the gods who punish him relentlessly. Do you have what it takes?
Also I've been trying to upload pictures through imgur but they never appear and are just little red 'x's on my computer. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue would be helpful.

You are an astronaut who loses his partner during a top-secret exploratory mission. The last anyone saw of him he was flying towards a strange pulsating nebula deep in the darkness of space. Upon following your friend's trail, you are teleported through a rift in space and time to an apparently calm and serene dimension where nothing could go wrong. This is a lie. As you continue your quest for your missing friend, the supposedly peaceful environment is replaced by an infinite black void filled with misery and fear that threatens to consume not only you, but the entire dimension.

Oh and btw on your way out of the Nether you can break and replace Netherack as needed to get back to the portal.
