4chan is not the only place with a /v/. There have been several very large threads on 7chan's /v/ about Minecraft, too. I don't know about other *chans or whatever, but there is more than one /v/ out there, same as there is more than one /tg/.
Late May, early June I think. Pre-sponge for sure, but multiplayer had already been implemented. I've been playing free for five months or so :biggrin.gif:
Erm, I'll TRY to join in with this, but I don't know... Timezones will make it awkward for me, and I might not be able to make it. I'll try my hardest, though.
Even a 1x1x2 prison can be broken out of... with a little help from the outside.
However I've seen on some servers a method of having a wide open prison, with traps (1x1x2 admincrete rooms) above them, in an effort to prevent people from telehaxing out while still being able to watch them.
I used to be an op on Redshift's Ocean Build (it appears to be dead right now) and I've had a lot of experience there. I am familiar with the commands and try not to be as cruel as other ops (eg. I hate admincrete prisons). Due to my timezone, I'm on during the Australian afternoon and evenings usually, although sometimes I'm on at other times.
Oh, and I'm offering my services to anyone who wants them.
I pretty much only ever go to Redshift's Ocean Build Server. I've been with it from the very beginning, and I'm had plenty of laughs and awesome builds there.
I tried going to the [SNiPE] Ocean Build server, and there was a prison there, but an admincrete block right on the spawn point let me get out. I check it out for a bit, then some new guy shows up and has no idea how to get out. I port back to show him, and promptly got banned for glitch abusing. Jerks.
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF this is annoying. Really, really annoying. If I stay relatively still, I can avoid getting disconnected indefinitely, but this isn't a good solution.
Also, it seems as though everything happens a lot faster now (after the update) people move faster, I move faster, it takes less time for me to jump and land than before... Nobody else on my server has reported this as happening to them. I'm using an Intel Core 2 duo.
