Hey guys! I've been working hard on the Farming District, here's a quick update!
Community Structure #2: Windmill and Granary!
Everything coming together:
Watch it all come together here! In the latest episode, I went exploring to find some sheep to finish the windmill and had a chance encounter with a Skeleton:
Hey guys, I'm Duneslenn, DaBehr on YouTube, and I'm here to bring you some City Construction Challenge! If you're not familiar, the CCC was created by another user called Iamchris27 and the goal is to build a thriving kingdom while imposing many restrictions and requirements on yourself.
TonyArnold: Lol thanks for the feedback too I know when I'm on a roll in a caving trip sometimes I just want to keep going even when my inventory is completely full; If you put this guy somewhere in your mineshaft/cave you can just drop some stuff off at your base and keep mining while!
Hello everyone, Duneslenn here with my first topic on the minecraft forums! I want to share an automatic item depositing system I created in the new snapshot using the hopper block!
Basically what happens is you put your items into a minecart with a chest and send it off down a rail where it eventually gets pushed over a hopper which feeds into a chest. After a delay the cart gets pushed back onto a rail where it goes back up and lands right where it started ready to be shipped off again!
Pics and a video are in the spoiler:
Edit: Video is really quiet, sorry! Using my deluxe $15 headset from Best Buy lol
Again this is an original design by myself so if there are other out there I'm sorry, I promise I didn't copy you It may not be 100% efficient because I'm not entirely certain how to make a perfect clock right off the top of my head, this is just something I threw together real quick before it left my brain in it's usual state of complete emptiness.
Anyway, as this is my first "tutorial" (More of a show and tell I suppose, haha) any feedback is appreciated!
Thanks,
Dune
Specialty: Building with the terrain. I like to make homes that flow with the natural shape of the land; I find them more appealing.. and terraforming is a pain. I also consider myself a pretty good redstoner.
Things you hate about Minecraft servers: Immaturity and cliques in a community where people feel left out
1. How long have you played Minecraft? Goin on about 1 year now. 2. LocationaNorth Carolina, USA 3. Age 18 4. Amount of time you spend playing weekly?1-2 hours per day at least 4 days week on average 5. Do you have a mic/use TeamSpeak? Yes and yes 6. Have you ever been banned or kicked from a server? I have not. 7. Pictures(if any) of your greatest builds and/or any other info about yourself you feel like sharing!I lost my hard drive that had my best build on it, and haven't gotten around to taking screenshots of any of my newer stuff due to remorse for the 20+ hours I put into the last one. I'm a responsible and respectful guy, just looking for a server where I can build/survive in peace while playing with a friendly group of people to pass the time 8. Finally your IGN(In Game Name) Duneslenn
Quite the tossup between when you walk out of your house and a Spider tackles you from the roof and when you're sitting in your house/base, minding your own business and a zombie walks over and beats your door down. Inconsiderate bastards...

Hey guys! Another update to the Kingdom! I've built up the Farming District a bit more, added a large monument , upgraded the animal pens and more!
Today I'm going to get started on one of the Community Structures needed to move on from the stone age -- the Farming District Tavern!
Enjoy, and please leave any feedback!

The CCC can be found here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/minecraft-discussion/survival-mode/297932-the-city-construction-challenge
I'm playing the challenge on Insane difficulty which means the hardest restrictions and the most requirements to move out of each age!
In this episode, I'm finishing up the last of the dwellings needed to leave the Wood Age and getting prepared for the transition into the Stone Age!
Enjoy!
