Skills/Experience in Vanilla Minecraft: I have been playing now for a year or two and have been part of a few servers, have played with some hermitcraft guys on hunger games before, and just had some small servers with friends where we just messed around and made some pretty cool stuff
Skills/Experience in FTB: I started playing it right before it came out of beta, and have played on alot of the packs (mindcrack, ultimate, direwolf, divine rpg) and I really like it because of the immense depth to the game and how many different things you can do. I normally take inspiration from things the mindcrack guys are doing.
Have you been banned before?: I have not, but my brother (who now has his own account and no longer screws with mine) got my account banned from some creative server (CreationBay I think) Do you watch HermitCraft or Mindcrack?: All day ere day

Why do you want to join? I have been watching the Mindcrack and Hermitcraft guys and I would really love to experience the sense of community they have and just be able to sit back relax and enjoy minecraft with a bunch of cool people. I would also love the opportunity to be able to share my creations with other people while they return the favor.
Why should I pick you?/What's special about you?: I hate these kind of questions, because I am a rather modest person, but I will give it a shot. I would say that I am a pretty good builder, and have not yet messed about with micro blocks in FTB so that should be fun. I have a good base of knoweledge with the Ultimate pack mods, such as Industrial craft build craft and thermal expansion, and I am ready and willing to help anyone I can.
Anything else I should know about you?: I would really love to be a part of this community especially because it may consist of a FTB and vanilla server, because I do kind of play in phases, either mostly FTB or mostly vanilla, so I think this is definitely the server I would love to be on.

Why do you want to join this server?: I would love to play on a server like mindcrack because I love the sense of community they have, and I would much rather have my stuff out there on a server of fun, mature people to appreciate rather than it be on a single player world where I feel like a no-life :P. I would also love the chance to help be a part of server projects or just other people's individual projects, just to be there as a possible source of inspiration or whatever they need.
Additional Information (Convince me):Hmmm what else is there to say? I have played on 2 other Mindcrack style servers, but they were FTB and kind've died out, and I feel like trying a vanilla one would be better because I understand most everything and I would be more confident in helpin out.

Why do you want to join (at least 3 lines) : I have been watching a lot of Mindcrackers on youtube lately and decided I want to play in an environment similar to what they have on the Mindcrack Server. I have played on some of my friends servers before, but beyond that I have only played more PVP/Faction style stuff, and the constant worry is getting slightly old. I would love to be part of a community of cool people that are all friendly, and I look forward to helping and being helped.
What do you think you can bring to this server (at least 3 lines) : I can bring to the server a variety of things, at least I think I can :P. I am always cheerful and try to keep everyones spirits up. I also have a decent understanding of the FTB Modpack, and I am completley willing to help those with less of a grip on the mods than I have. My builds are also rather eye-pleasing. Also, I believe I have a rather good sense of humor. My word choice is also vaguely interesting

Are you mistakenly under the impression that the Minecraft buildings are procedurally generated? They're just inserted prefabs. But you appear to have avoided agreeing that you're mistaken by focussing on the wrong thing. Please, please, load up Minecraft, preferably the 360 version, and attempt to build a better cathedral/house/village than shown in the right. I assure you it's not possible; ergo, FortressCraft is better for creative builds than Minecraft.
Dude, just look around. There are minecraft builds that look just as good, and many that are better, than the fortress stuff you have there
As I've indicated before, those images on the left are from Mojang, and are created ingame, thus can be deemed to be a sensible level of quality. IF you think you can find similar builds of better quality, please do let me know.
But as I've said before; anything that Minecraft can do, with it's 1m3 blocks, FortressCraft can achieve with over 512 times more quality. This isn't hyperbole, this is fact. If you *can* come up with a better fireplace or chimney or spiral staircase in Minecraft, FortressCraft's engine and interface can attack it at a much, much higher level of quality, with better atmospherics and surface shaders, to boot!
Minecraft is a 16 bit game (normally) but if you get the hd patcher and that photo realism **** it can look just as good as fortress

So I come across this thread by complete accident. Never having heard about Fortresscraft, I begin reading this with an open mind. There is some good discussion about 'clones' and 'copies'. However after reading the comments by this guy that is supposed to be the main developer, wow. Not interested in a game made by someone who would rather insult then educate about their product. Let alone do it on a competitors forum, regardless if it's in off-topic or not. You certainly have a right to defend your game and correct misconceptions. But to insult any possible new customers is lame and any possible interest at least for me is gone. Seems you're happy with what you've sold so far, that is great. Insulting those who may not understand some things or might be interested in this game, even indirectly, might get you some word of mouth, but mostly for the wrong reasons.
At the time I started reading this thread it only had a little over 1600 views. Not a lot especially in a huge forum like this. Still enough for someone like me who had never heard of this game yet have a huge interest in this genre overall to want to check this thread out. If you are indeed the real developer for this, you may want to reassess how you react to threads like this and educate your potential customers. Good luck to you, sir.
I started a server for a medieval city, but the problem is all of my friends really suck at building nice looking things XD If you are interested to help, send me a message and a friend request. GT is DuckDude6, I cannot get on much during school though Please note that i will have you build a sample house or something before I let you build inside the city, and even if you are not a builder you can still play as a regualer citizen of the city.
I have been getting frustrated because i became premium in mc and have yet to play a premium server because apparently the payement never freaking registered. Nevertheless, I have not even been able to login to cracked servers, and recently figured out why. I have been playing offline, and cannot figure out why it keeps giving me the error "cannot connect to minecraft.net" I even tried my cracked version, but it would not even launch.
It shouldn't be any different than downloading it on a PC. Just click on or copy+paste one of the download links and it should take you to the download.
