For clarification, I am the other owner of this server (Phantasmus) Unlike the person above I am from Europe meaning you often will see just either one of us online on the server. But we both are very capable of managing a server so if you run into a problem, don't hesitate to contact us.
That being said, I indeed will be taking care of the various Events we will be hosting on a daily basis. If you have a question, suggestion or bug report regarding an Event please contact me in that case.
About Us
Phantro's Vanilla is an international semi-vanilla survival server. We have a custom map created by Phantasmus as well as daily events and games orchestrated by him as well. We have set up various events and games that go on throughout the week that give all members the opportunity to win unique and lifetime-lasting prizes. The custom map accommodates various custom terrains, trees, roads, mountains, and more. You are encouraged to establish residences across the world and are more than welcome to establish your own city and become your own boss with your own rules. If the custom map doesn't quite fit your zing, we still have a Minecraft generated map with the latest updates so all of the exciting new biomes will be present. We are a community first server with controlled PvP. We are first and foremost an adult server. However, exceptions may be made; not based specifically on maturity, but how you can benefit our server.

Two worlds are currently in use on this server. The first world is a naturally-generated map titled "Humdrum." This map uses the latest map generation info so all the exciting biomes will be present.
The second world named "Grothmar," is a bit special. It was hand-made by us and contains beautiful meadows, dangerous cliffs and dark forests. However, it does not offer much in terms of underground exploration and ores, so we recommend that regardless of which world you prefer, you collect your resources in Humdrum.
To move around in the worlds, you can make use of the portal warp system. Portal warps are commonly found in major cities in both worlds, and they will teleport you to another city. Both worlds have 1 world portal which will teleport you to the other world. Making use of these portals is absolutely free.

• Do not break constructions made by other people. If you are unsure about this, please ask us.
• We enforce a 16+ policy for applications.

Examples are for paying our hosting costs, creating a website in the near future (not a typical Enjin forum, a real website), advertising, and other subjects relating directly to our server. I usually dig 1x1 stairs out of the side of a mountain until y=10-12. Then I start branch mining. If I run into a cavern I will explore what I can see for resources then block my tunnel off. I usually mine for 2-4 hours at a time literately. Every 250 blocks or so I will place a chest and go back to get some food and make checkpoints.
I can only mine and adventure in survival. I hate building in survival. I need fly mode because stacking dirt blocks every 3-4 blocks is annoying when putting a roof on.
It has to be a problem with the launcher. I googled and found threads on MCF about the same thing and time again it was a driver issue with graphics cards. I updated my drivers and still no fix.
Yet I can still play Minecraft just fine with FeedTheBeast and MultiMC.

You can have a In-Game-Name apart from your username and will cause no difficulties.
I mean with a password cracker, I could take your username and have your account within 24 hours. I feel like having a IGN would be better for security reasons. Since nobody can see what your login name is, they can't hack you.

Like trying to play the game. Downloading the .jar, .ogg, etc. files. It says it's not able to connect to the server because it's sending a 503 error.
