Hey Mafia, would it be alright if I still apply? I've been busy recently with a job I just got, but I'd like to still take part and apply. I really am sorry for wasting time.

(( Hey guys, I'm back. Once the hours of stuff come up for my characters I'll make better posts. Apologies. ))

Errant lays in silence close to the campfire, trying to fight off the shivers. His wounds have been treated for the most part, but his rib cage is terribly sore and his face makes that pretty clear. With even the slightest of movements, pain shoots through his side, causing Errant to grit his teeth and stop moving entirely. He grumbles to himself before laying out entirely. The shinobi looks to Gayn, who looks back at him, brow raised. "I suppose you wouldn't be medical ninja?" Errant asks, knowing full well the answer.

Gayn simply shakes his head and looks away, focusing on the fire.

Errant had been following the party and halfheartedly listening for a majority of the time spent....

As Sylvia eventually returned to the group, the half breed couldn't help but sniff the air, catching a hint of cigarette. He looks at her with an arched brow while point at his own cigarette. "You smoke?" He took a drag of his own cigarette before looking to the others, deciding to point in his two cents regarding the situation. Taking a moment to mull over the idea of going to town, he shrugs and nods. "I'm down to go to town... As for being late or skipping class," he looks towards Sylvia once more and then the others, "We're going to spend quite a few years here. There are going to be thousands of classes we have to attend. If we miss a few here or there, I seriously doubt we'll get in that much trouble. if we miss first and then go to second, or third.... or just start tomorrow, it's not going to make a big deal. Or we can give the whole," he pauses and raises his hands up, making air quotes, "we got lost" excuse."

The half elf then stops for a few seconds before continuing. "You know, walking wouldn't be that bad.... neither would a bus...." After Lugaid interjected and mentioned his magic, Errant shook his head. "Though it may be interesting to use some form of magic to get there, I'm not entirely interested in making a quick journey. Eventually we're all going to have to learn the surrounding area. Roads, the town itself, bus routes, all that good stuff. Might as well get it over with now. Plus, adventure and all that." He raises his arms in the air and waves them from side to side, mimicking excitement. "Or! We can be lame and stay at school." Errant looks to Sylvia and gives a thumbs up.

"Like I said, I'm down to go to town..... All jokes aside."

((Hey guys! I am super sorry for not being here. I recently applied for a job and was successful in getting it. We've been doing lots of training for the past few days, as it's a new location in the franchise, and I also have been just preparing for it. I didn't mean to disappear without a warning. The next few days will be swamped for me, but I'll make sure to get on at least once a day to make a post. ))

    Gayn

Gayn and the rogue ninja who attacked him simply danced circles around one another for a few moments. For the most part, the rogue thought himself equal to the Leaf Genin, but he could not be more wrong. As the rogue moves forward, dashing to throw a kunai and follow up with a low kick to the knee, the mute shinobi simply sidestepped the kunai and stepped forward to meet the dashing rogue. He slides a leg behind the rogue's outward kick and slams both palms into his chest, sending him flying backward. The rogue ninja rolls for several feet before forcing himself back up. Just in time for a world of hurt. Gayn quickly meets the rogue shinobi, sending his fingertips into his torso in various locations.

As he continues, the speed and ferocity of the assault only grows in tempo. What begins as small patterned attacks becomes dangerously powerful blows. Heart, shoulder, rib cage, neck, elbow, thigh, leg, and so on. Eventually, the combination of attacks stops upon the sixty-forth strike, cutting of a sixty forth tenketsu. The rogue shinobi stares in silence, unable to even speak as he crashes down to his knees. Gayn quickly raises his leg and slams his knee into the nose of the rogue, shattering it before sending him back, unconscious on the floor, unable to even move. As Tenari comes to aid Gayn, she finds herself unable to do anything, as he was already defeated.

    Errant

After only a few more minutes of struggling in the dirt, Errant lifts his demon wind shuriken and slashes violently down, slicing the throat of the enemy. "Kill or be killed..." He mutters weakly, bloodied and beaten badly. He falls over onto his side and gasps in pain before rolling over onto his back. The albino brings his hand towards his side, feeling a protrusion from his rib cage. That's a broken rib for sure. Errant groans in pain and simply stares up at the skies. As the battle slowly comes to a close as a majority of the rogue ninja are defeated, he looks over to the still form of his opponent. He frowns and looks away, unable to stare at the lifeless form, the form of a man he had killed.

    Errant and Ariel

Ariel sat at her desk, gently tapping her pen against her chin. Eventually, she lowered the pen away from her face and began to scribble something down on the clipboard in front of her, on the desk. As she worked, Errant was on the other side of the room, stacking papers, slipping them into the proper folder, and putting them in the proper drawers. Finishing up the simple task, he looks over at Ariel and clears his throat.

"I'm finished with organizing the patient reports, need anything else doctor?" Errant stands up from his sitting position and approaches Ariel. He stops a few feet away and sets a box of organized folders down on the floor. With his foot, he nudges it under her desk and into position. "Folders are organized exactly how you specified; alphabetically." Ariel nods in response and smiles.

"Thanks Errant, you've been a pretty solid intern for the first week. Most interns would usually run away from this sort of job. It's a rough ones, some of these patients are only suffering slightly, but others are downright crazy, and it's tough seeing people in that state...." She shakes her head, frowning for a moment before looking back up. "That's all I'm going to need of you. I plan on scheduling an appointment with one of the prisoners in an hour or so. If you'd like to come along and watch the work, you may."

"That sounds great! Thank you doctor." Errant grins and moves towards the door. "I'm going to go get my stuff ready, I'll see you then!" Errant turns and exits the office, a small spring in his step. Ariel laughs softly at seeing his reaction and returns to her, boring office work.

    Errant

The week-old intern hurries down the corridor, moving quickly to his room. After a few minutes of navigating the hallways, passing by some of the less 'dangerous' patients, he comes to his room. Removing his key from his pocket, he slips the key into the door, turns it and removes it. Opening the door, he steps inside and closes it behind him. Looking around the plain white walls of his room, he couldn't help but sigh. This place is so empty... I'm going to get a few posters to liven it up a little bit. I'm sure Ariel and the other doctors would be alright with that. After the moment of observation and thought, he begins to move about his room.

He grabs his clipboard from the small desk in the corner, with a few sheets of paper already tucked in place. Errant then picks up a pen and clips it onto his shirt. With a nod, the intern turns away and exits the room. He closes and locks the door behind him before heading down the hallway. He wanders around for awhile, searching for a patient to simply interact with. Eventually, he finds himself in the more 'dangerous' area of the Asylum, and he goes from door to door, simply looking in on the patients.

((Anyone who is in a room or something, feel free to stop my character. I'd like some interaction. With that being said, if you'd like that appointment Doctor Ariel has planned to be with you, just let me know.))

((It's been longer than a day, and for that, I'm sorry guys. I know I said I'd only be gone for a day, but I'm currently planning a Dungeons and Dragons campaign, so that took precedence over the forums. I'm done for the most part with the coming session, so I'm going to be posting for the next few days (other than tomorrow) with no problem. Thanks for the patience!))

Errant mindlessly followed his roommates to and fro, from the cafeteria into the common room. After an unknown amount of time of just sitting around and doing nothing, in the rather comfortable chairs of the common room, the half breed snapped out of his daze. Looking around, he realized Adam and Lugaid were discussing going into town. Apparently, it was also about a disguise. As he was about to say something, Lugaid began to cast the spell. After a few seconds, Adam appeared entirely human, hair, teeth, nails, and all other Lycan features simply vanished. He raises an eyebrow and clears his throat.

"Now, I wouldn't say you look bad, pal, but I think you look better with the whole, Lycan thing going on." He shrugs and slips a hand into his pocket, grabbing at a cigarette. He slips it in between his lips and lights it. "Going out to town sounds pretty cool, should we go about asking for permission? Or are we even allowed to? I don't remember the rules on it.... I was kinda, not paying attention..." He rubs the back of his head, chuckling. "Sorry for the slip up, guys."

Errant slowly sits up after the bell tolls loudly for sometime. He looks about, rubbing at his eyes groggily. I don't remember.... Lets see.... Errant, games, something about getting to the top. He looks around the room, taking in his surroundings. First of all, he notes the various bunks around the room, housing other people, or whatever you'd call the motley crew who were gathered within. After some time of getting his bearings, he slowly swings his legs from atop the bunk to place his feet against the floor. As he does so, a man dressed in a pinup suit and mask comes in. He begins to speak, mentioning teams and getting time to make them. Eventually, Errant stands, as does everyone else, and he follows the masked man into the common room.

As he enters into the common room, he thinks on the concept of the Vanir Games, as well as the idea of who to form teams with. Looking around, he wasn't entirely sure who to even speak to. These people were strangers. Two teams of three, and a team of four. Taking another look around, Errant only notes eight competitors and three others, all masked men. Well, that only makes eight. If there are two teams of three and a team of four, we are missing two competitors. As he sits, as if on queue, two crates are opened and some form of slimy substance and a mushroom are released from within. What....?

Errant quickly stands, ignoring the other competitors for now and approaches the mushroom. The cybernetic man watches the mushroom settle down with his parcel, somewhat confused by the entire scenario. Shaking his head, he comes to a stop before the mushroom and nods.

"Greetings... fungi... Are you by chance, participating in these games?"

    Name: Ariel Summers

    Age: 31

    Gender: Female

Reason For Working Here: Since grad school, I've been working in the medical field. In my late twenties, I went back to school for a degree in psychology, for the reason of being able to help those most in need. It's been about four years now since I received my degree in psychology and I believe after working with more minor cases, I'm prepared to step into a more serious scenario.

    Appearance:

Inventory: I carry a taser for self defense, but other than that, I have all the tools required to work in this facility. Ranging from a pen to a clipboard, all I'll need for the job are medicines. I carry cash and a phone in my purse.

Bio: I knew no hardships growing up. I was born in South Carolina and lived in a small town. My parents were both successful lawyers and were more than capable of giving my siblings and I a beautiful home. Sadly though, my youngest brother, David, was diagnosed with schizophrenia and as he came of age, he began to experience many of the side effects. At this time, I was already a successful doctor, sending home money for my younger siblings college funds. When I heard of my brother's case, it broke my heart. I returned home hoping to treat him, but when I arrived, it was to rather saddening news. My brother had killed himself. Upon the note, he claimed the voices inside his head wouldn't leave him alone.

His death caused a lot of problems for my family. Seeing such a horrible thing happen, I decided I wanted to go into the field of psychology to help others, like my brother, so no one would have to face such a hardship again. I've spent a few years interning and working for small time hospitals and agencies, helping those with only minor mental conditions. But now I'm prepared to work in a more serious setting.

    Intern, Doctor, Or Assistant: Doctor

Patient(s): I'm hoping to work with them all.

Other: I read your rules, fruits are great, I guess strawberries win this time. Also, sorry the picture is so provocative, but every female doctor in anime is apparently dressed similar to that.

posted a message on The Four Kings [INTEREST CHECK]

I think instead of a healing clan, you can have a clan called Anarchy/Chaos. Order and Chaos are too big time rivals in some industry, both of them trying to be the monopoly of said industry, could be drugs, guns, those sorts of things... And because of that, those two are consistently fighting it out on the streets and stuff like that. And then you can have Fyre, which isn't a gang in the traditional sense. Instead, they are more of a vigilante group. They are still a gang, but instead of selling drugs and doing all that bad ****, they combat the Order and Chaos as a means of both making money and cleaning up the streets. They can take up protection jobs to defend people from the big gangs, could also protect shops for a small fee (kinda like the Sons of Anarchy) and their goal can just be to protect the city. And then finally, Shadow can be a small time group that aren't a huge gang, but instead they handle the black market and assassinations.
