Recently, I started experimenting with custom resource packs for a map that I am building. I figured out how to make armor look like somebody's skin, for example. But I need at least 6 different armor textures, and the most I can get is 5. I need help putting multiple armor textures on one piece of armor, changing the damage value depending on how I want it to look.
The videos haven't made sense, and other places tell me its impossible. I know it's possible, so please don't tell me its impossible. I have Optifine, if that is crucial to success.

I liked Minecon Earth because I could never have seen it otherwise, however, if they livesteamed a real life Minecon, then everybody could get the best of both worlds.
Hello everybody! I am here to humbly ask assistance of whoever will give it to me.
No matter what post I find, I simply cannot figure out how to give one world, and that world only, certain textures. In some of Mithey's maps, he gives the same item multiple different skins. No matter what I do, I can figure any of this stuff out, or find a tutorial that works for me. Can somebody please help me I'm looking for a pretty long tutorial, I guess.... I don't even know how to create custom textures, much less plug them in to the MC world.
BTW, custom item textures and custom armor textures are more important than custom block textures, if you only have the time to explain some of it.
whenever a player attempts a questionable action (eg. breaking tall grass, punching a tree, or changing any wetland area) this block will appear hovering directly in front of the players face (completely blocking any view of the world)…
clicking on a PERMIT BLOCK will bring up a text based interface where the player will be given the opportunity to justify that specific instance (and that specific instance ONLY) of the intended action…
replies will be judged on length (more is always better) and the inclusion of the requisite amount of buzz words… (note that copy/past and similar cheats will be disabled)
the PERMIT BLOCK will remain in place until the permit interface has been successfully completed (Death is no excuse and no release.)

This may be taking accusations a bit too far, but Microsoft/Mojang is being RIDICULOUS!!! Is there some way to get them to see this post? I want sharks and dolphins in minecraft!
Also, this thread has a lot of support. Maybe we should use a petition...? But seriously people, lets get our rightfully deserved water critters BACK!!! If Microsoft/Mojang has too many angry people on their hands, they'll have to do something!
Hello everybody, especially Pat and Jen, and welcome to the Outer Space Burning Map! This map was built for YouTubers Pat and Jen and is intended to be part of their burning map series.
In this map, they will be burning:
- A Flying Saucer
- An Astronaut
- A Space Shuttle
Some features of this map include:
~ Unique Custom Items
~ 8 Kits (4 space themed, 4 mob themed)
~ Giving Jen blindness at the beginning so she doesn't see the structures
I hope that PopularMMOs decides to make a video of this map. Pat and Jen are my favorite Youtubers of all time, and there isn't much I'd like better than having them play my map.
I agree! Video games are specifically meant to be an escape from real life. Only toddlers who hadn't learned how dangerous sharks can be would possibly take this seriously, and anybody that young should be supervised every second.
I'm really bad at breeding villagers, but the villagers will not disappear just because you destroyed the doors. You would have to kill them or have zombies kill them.
