Why do you want to be on the server?: Just want a small group of people, or soon to be friends, to build with.
Are you reliable to be on most often?: I'll get on when I can, family first.
Do you steal?: Nope
I like the whole idea of random events, but some of these ideas like the tornado/ volcano, will probably take their toll with lag. Also, the solar storm/ufo random events does not sit well.
So basically i thought it would be cool to have something like totems in the game that would provide healing, armor, and maybe even set fire to baddies (maybe even explode?). Essentially it would be a situational tool and maybe even help with building somehow? I'm thinking about it being a permanent buff as long as your in the area. Being that it is permanent the materials required will have to be in a way hard to obtain.

Health totem (red mushroom being an apple)
Fire causing totem

Ok, so what i was thinking that if notch added energy drinks or pills or something along those lines that is consumable, and increases your speed temporarily. Good for a quick escape from that spider, a handy getaway tool, or just to get places faster before nightfall.
Ideas for crafting said items (feel free to contribute)
Energy drink
( = milk bucket = redstone)
Pills/vitamins
Probably just some sulphur over some redstone, any ideas for this would be welcome
Essentially, I thought it would be awesome if when you attack a monster with a sword (sword only mind you) with the crosshairs on a limb, it would fall off, i.e I am aiming at a zombies leg, i chop it off, he is now maimed and travels slower, or i could attack his head which would be weaker than his torso thus dealing more damage per swing. Could be a great way to give a strategic advantage against monsters.

What are you're thoughts on griefing: I personally think anyone who runs around spamming hacked tnt and spewing lava or randomly destroying blocks deserves to be banned.
What side do you think you want to be on? Human or orc: Orc, why? because WAAAAAGH (plus i got a pretty cool orc skin)
What are you good at building: Traps and other helpful defensive structures
Why do you want to join:Because ive always wanted to have a minecraft war with some decent people NOT trying to ruin the game
Would you be active on our forums that we are creating?: Absolutely, if the topic is minecraft or the server count me in!

yea it will act as a block, so you could put it as a figurehead in your house or a warden for evil
