This addon looks awesome. Only problem is, it crashes every time I try to launch, making it pretty much unusable. Hope there is a fix soon.

Seems the crash was due to more planets.

posted a message on Looking for a mod that adds a lot

I am looking for a mod, or mods, that add a lot of stuff. Mostly I am looking for a mod that adds a ton of weapons and items. I already tried Advent of Ascension and while it had a ton of things, I just didn't enjoy the difficulty. No weapon type in particular. Just the bigger, the better.

    Thanks in advance.

How do I get the pig fat to create the warding candles? I can't find this information anywhere I look.

Ah. I didn't know. My luck really sucks when it comes to finding structures.

Any chance that we will see things such as dungeons, villages and other structures spawn in the new dimensions to give them something more to them? What about adding a boss to these dungeons?

The mobs and dimensions are very cool, but could use some dungeons or other cool things to really give them depth.

So I went to the realms in creative and looked around. I gotta say they are unique. That said, they are really barren. Is there any plans to add dungeons or villages or something else to each of the realms? Sure they look neat, but there isn't really much to them. For example, the deeplands is pretty lacking in anything from what I could see. Sure there is a few ores here and there and a few mobs, but that is about it.

Maybe try adding some dungeons, unique treasures and possible some friendly npc villages to the areas. Maybe a few unique companions in each realm to recruit and have them like friendly npcs you can take home and have live with you or something. Just anything to really liven up the realms and give some deep meaning to going there.

You can find most of that in my post above. The coins are used for trading with nps later in the game. Anything else?

Thanks. What about the thing in the top right of my screen? What are all of those? There are five of them.

Unfortunately, there isn't one quite yet. Area or Xolova would probably give better guides than myself, but if you look at the post above or have specific questions, I can answer them :D

What are skills? What do they do? What do they effect? What is the items added to my screen in the top right and what do they do? Why does it say I feel cold and need to warm up? How do I stop that from happening because underground seems safe. What are coins used for?

    Just basic stuff like that.

And again, I challenge you to get all four filled at one time! Note: If you visit another dimension, your tribute bars will reset. As well as they won't work the same as a certain god is over that dimension. Only dimensions that aren't ruled by one god besides the overworld are the Ancient Caverns and The End.

You seem very knowledgeable. Know any good guides on skills, resources, and other useful stuff?

Most of the information is on the wiki (link on the front page), but a lot from the newest update is not on there yet.

Sadly, only three of the guides on the wiki has anything written in them. Still no info on the skills or resource guide.

I just found this mod. Its amazing, but a bit overwhelming. Does anyone know of a good tutorial on its basics, the skills, what the heck those things added to my screen are, and maybe a basic survival guide for the first few nights / days?

I am having a really hard time surviving or getting resources at first. So many mobs and they hurt. Just a starting guide would help a lot in getting started.

Also, any good servers for this mod?

posted a message on Dynamic Transport (Moving Elevators in Minecraft) UPDATED:07/20/2014

I have this in a 1.7.10 world and its really buggy. I will get it to work for a little bit, then problems start. As soon as I select a level to go to, nothing happens. It them creates another elevator block. Its pretty much just creating duplicates of the elevator block and not moving.

I have pinpointed the problem. The problem occurs anytime the elevator computer is put on the same floor level as the elevator.

    Example

You place Elevator computer at Y:50. You then place Elevator at Y:50.

This seems to trigger it, but not everytime.

The reason they require you to have logged in from your computor once (as long as things don't get messed up) is to check that you have a valid account and have payed for the game, it's to keep someone from copying the game from a freind and playing it without paying, technically it does nothing to stop people from making copies but it does, at least to some extent, remove the reason for doing so, so I think the term copy protection is valid.

Well, nothing wrong with discussing it here, the Suggestions subforum may be more appropriate but here would work , however you can't blame me for thinking you were trying to make an official request (presumably to Mojang) when that is what you said you were doing.

Oh it is as well as having a discussion about it. As you said, it does nothing to stop people. Playing on a multiplayer server, I have seen just how little good it does. It upsets and frustrates me that as a paying customer, I have a lesser capability to play my legally purchased game then someone who uses a copy or a cracked client. I feel that that should not be the case.

If you know how to contact mojang about this,I would love to know how. I am sure other paying customers would and are equally upset that they cannot play the game they purchased, but a hacker can without ever buying a thing.

My game did crash within a few days, preventing me from playing all together. This issue is a further concern when in reality, their authentication servers will not be around for ever. If 10 years from now I decide I want to play some minecraft, and their servers are down, I simply would have lost the money I used to purchase the account.

Its not really a suggestion. This is something that should be default. I can play any other game I purchase without an internet connection unless it otherwise states with being purchased "an internet connection is required". They did not have such a statement, yet it is indeed required in order to play if you have not logged in on that computer yet, or if you have but something happened to log you out while you have no internet.

I doubt they will change their copy protection though,

What do you mean copy protection? I put this here for a discussion to have other paying customers feedback as well as their ability to access and play the product they purchased being removed from them due to inconveniences or unforeseen circumstances cutting off their ability to get a internet connection. Such as was my case. It is something I feel needs to be discussed because it is ensuring that I cannot use a product that I bought.

Where on that website would I leave such a request as well?

I purchased this game a few years back when it was using the old launcher. One of the major appeals to me was the ability to play offline. Recently, due to construction work, I was left without the use of the internet for close to a week. In that time I played minecraft until it crashed and logged me off. Once that happened, I could no longer access or play the product that I have payed for.

So, I am here to officially request the ability to continue to play minecraft without the need to log in be added. This is of course, meant for single player mode. There are obvious issues with trying to play on a multiplier server, with the major one being the lack of internet. So I request that somehow this be looked into. I am other wise completely fine with this game and truely enjoy it. I just want to be able to access what I payed for When I want to regardless of the internet.
