    after messing with it for a day i have come to one conclusion... messing with this was in fact a waste of time. Skyblock, good. Skyblock with 20,000 NEW blocks/items and a recipe for only 1% of them, bad. sorry but when i am playing a game i don't like switching back and forth between the game and the internet just to see how things are made. yes i know the new blocks are needed and thats fine but make a book of recipes so people who have never used ExNihilo or what ever MOD know how to make a hammer and the rest of the stuff that isn't covered. well that's my opinion and yes i know if i don't like it don't play it, well i won't. i hope you people pick it up and check it out for yourself though as my opinion is just that... Mine. you might like it, i just don't.

    i have it set to download recommended version so i don't know what version but i have downloaded it a few times trying to fix my previous problem and it give's me creative worlds everytime.

    Ok start FTB open AS click single player and look at the maps screen... it tells you under the name of each map weather it's a creative, survival or hardcore map... Both the maps i got say creative. so it's not creative in anyway except it was built in creative mode?

    And might i suggest uploading it with TMI's GUI turned off at start.

    So you play on a "creative" map... well that make this no fun at all... "Ohh noooo I'm dieing... /gamemode 1"... really? maybe consider NOT making the starting map creative? you want to make it challanging and give us all the tools to build and plant and get what ever items we want? Don't get me wrong GREAT idea, just seems to be lacking wisdom on the execution. Maybe when you get it working in survival i'll check it out again but until then it's back to a real skyblock map.

    I got the game to load though there are many errors both warnings and severe. the game loads and i can start a new world but i can't get land to spawn and just fall to my death. help?

    I have 6gb ram dedicated to FTB
    i7 920 2.6 overclocked to 3.2

    posted a message on Obsidian stairs, tools and half blocks and more!!!
    well by the name you can guess a few of my ideas.
    Obsidian is lost as only a single block, it needs more jobs! make the tools just a tad stronger than their Diamond counterpart. make stairs and half blocks and maybe bricks or smooth.

    also a few more metals would be nice Bronze, Copper, Unobtainium. you know the basics.

    perhaps a new type of plant that is poisionous. if you get to close or you can make poision out of it.

    Hi i am starting a RPG server running on a high speed business connection, We are currently looking for help with building towns, Writing Quests through Citizens, and would love to get our hands on a programmer or two familiar with bukkit plug-ins.     What i would really like to see is more Options with Obsidian blocks, like Obsidian stairs and half blocks, and tools as well would be sweet! and maybe ever marble (a mix of smooth stone and Obsidian) that would be sweet!

    But Overall i am quite pleased with the snapshot, though i am just waiting for 1.2 to come out so i can update my server so it has ocelots and jungles! then the real work starts on building towns and placing NPC's and writing quests. Ohh the JOYS!!!
