    posted a message on [Taking Requests] Looking for things to Mod!
    Could you please make a mod called RandomItems which basically allows for randomly textured items (swords, tools, miscellaneous) but still uses an items ID Value but has a random chance to give it another texture? Basically RandomMobs except for items. I don't know if this is possible or not since I haven't really delved into coding Minecraft.

    You can change the generator to be flat and air only (2;0;1;). Have you tried this? New chunks will be air. NBTEdit if it's a single player world, or set the server.properties if it's a server.

    Keep at it. It gets easier. Also look at tutorials on Youtube for usage tips.

    Have you tried filters? Lots of tools are available in MCEdit and then there are custom filters that do interesting things that you would be challenged to achieve quickly in creative mode.

    Good luck.

    Wow; it worked - Thanks so much! (:

    Whenever I click mcedit.exe I get this quick dialog box that instantly disappears after like a millisecond. I've managed to open it up enough snagging each word and it basically says:
    LoadLibrary failedThe specified module could not be found
    C:\Users\Trey\AppData\Local\Temp\7z031DF.tmp\PYTHON27.DLL

    Version of MCEdit: 0.1.7.1
    Operating System: Windows 8, (Desktop) 32-bit
    Version of Minecraft: 1.6.2 no mods

    I have had this issue for over 2 months but still no-one has helped me.
    I even posted it on github https://github.com/mcedit/mcedit/issues/406

    OK my Resource Pack has been having trouble for a really long time and it's really ing me off and I need urgent help.

    My connected textures isn't work even though I've been endlessly patching it with mcpatcher even though this crap program isn't working; either it's that or Mojang obviously messed up again. Loads of others have been having problems with it too.

    My random-mobs isn't working and I really need help with this. Here are some screenshots of the files in my resource pack.

    Here are the files inside the actual resource pack

    It has to work like a button, if you examine my portcullis you will find it does not function like a lever

    Hi, I am interested in making a time toggle for a portcullis. What I am struggling with is making my daylight sensors act like a button rather than a lever. In the daytime the portcullis should be open and when it is nighttime it will close. Here are some pictures of my build:

    This picture is my portcullis. The right side (block behind the chain) is where the buttons are hooked up - You can see one on the closer side too. This is where I want to hook up my toggle switch.

    This picture is the Daylight Sensor toggle which didn't work, one piston was always behind and the wool wouldn't be pushed in time. As you see the right side is inverted for the nighttime while the left side is regular.

    Notch also said he was going to add red dragons, crying obsidian and a use for sponges. Needless to say but this wont be added

    Sounds like something that'd be really, really laggy.

    But if it's not then I support. c:

    Have you ever ridden a boat in an ocean biome? Its not laggy at all. Learn the game.

    posted a message on Warhammers as a new weapon
    1. Your idea is NOT original, type in warhammer in search
    2. Making an item already have a pre-existing effect (Knockback I) is already overpowered
    3. Minecraft doesn't need new weapons

    Quote from Lt_Colonel_Fifi

    I also came up with a different crafting recipe, if any of you don't like the existing one --

    :Iron: :Iron: :Iron:
    :Iron: :|: :Iron:
    :: :|: ::

    But honestly you should add a 'advanced weapon forge' or something of the sort, with a 5x5 grid instead of 3x3. I think that adds depth and makes this a bit harder to craft (which makes it less OP), but some of you may think it is slightly over-the-top. Here is a 5x5 recipe --

    :Iron: :Iron: :|: :Iron: :Iron:
    :Iron: :Iron: :|: :Iron: :Iron:
    :: :: :|: :: ::
    :: :: :|: :: ::
    :: :: :|: :: ::

    Just an additional suggestion. Give your thoughts on the 5x5 idea.

    That's quite honestly unecessary aswell

    Absolutely no point in this, we've got health and regen potions along with a new enchantment (Thorns) and Resistance buff from beacons
