    Hello fellow MineCrafters and Modders. It has come to my attention that the Anarchy server I play on, doesn't seem to use TNT Cannoning as an option of getting into a base when it comes to raiding. TNT is expensive, and with the potions with radius effects (as a result of using creeper dust in a brewing stand), the gunpowder can become quite expensive, in fact. So, my solution to this misuse in TNT Cannon, is a turret! This turret mod is pretty good, in fact - I tried it. The mod-maker just sucks though. He fails to update the mod for 1.7.3 (He had it updated for 1.7, just not 1.7.3) 1.8 AND MineCraft Official. I'm tired on waiting on this slacker; so I proposed a new approach - Ask the MineCraft Community if they could make a similar mod for me. :smile.gif:



    The guidelines for this mod must fit into this criteria, sadly - It doesn't abide most things that people on Anarhcy servers like.

    1. Make it compatible with the server plugin: factions
    2. When raiding, make it impossible to bombard the enemy if they're not online (If you've played PVP with Factions, this should be easy to comprehend if you've ever tried to TNT Cannon someone not online and couldn't)
    3. Change the INVENTORY texture of the Turret, which currently looks like a boat.
    4. Make obsidian indestructible when shooting any of the numerous cannonballs at it.
    5. Make it impossible to break a block which is behind, beneath/under water.
    6. Make impact with ANY cannonball an instant death to a player.
    7. Make a reload time so people don't spam cannonballs or TNT (Preferably 3 seconds)
    8. Make it compatible with redstone commands and clocks.
    9. Make the turret inventory guarded by faction territory.
    10. If you're cannon-balling a stone brick, before it breaks, it goes to a cracked stone brick phase, then it breaks if attacked again.
    11. When the cannonball breaks something, make the attacked object yield it's contents
    12. Change the crafting of the regular cannonball to this (I'll make the picture later)
    13. Make it compatible with servers (Bukkit) without having to be installed client based and only people with the mod can use it. (Basically, make it so EVERYONE on the server can use it without installing the mod)

    Sounds like it should be in the game rather than just a mod. The blocking thing shouldn't have been added as it sucks so much. Shields are much better. Sad how Notch didn't even think about it. And if you're thinking like AdventureCraft, I'd advise making it different, (I've tried AdventureCraft before), the mod maker should not make the hotbar have two selections, but, rather you place the shield (like armour) in an off-slot place where it will still protect you and you should be able to see it too with F5.

    posted a message on Easier Way To Herd Animals
    Hello forum, herding animals is way too hard, I want an easier way to herd them into my barn. I've thought of an idea with a rope, you craft a rope from 3 string (Horizontal) and there you have your rope. What you can do with it is tie it onto an animal, kinda like the Mo' Creatures Mod, but then, say you want your animal to go somewhere - With the rope equipped, (attached to animal) it sends the animal to that location, only if it is possible (i.e no doors, 2 blocks high, out of reach etc.) This excludes animals: Chickens and Wolfs and Includes: Sheep, Cows and Pigs. Here's a picture of my recent progress with herding with blocks, in an elapsed time of 30 minutes.

    Sometimes the MineCraft Program will crash often because of my computer or my server, but when I use InBrowser it doesn't crash as much, So I like to use TooManyItems but it's apparently not compatible with the InBrowser version of MineCraft since I get a Black screen after it says MOJANG is this normal (That Mods aren't compatible with InBrowser MineCraft) or is it just me? If it's just me can I get some help? It it's normal can this be a future edition? That you can use Mods in the InBrowser version of MineCraft?

    You aren't spawning slimes because there isn't a lot of light, Pro Tip, remove the WHOLE ceiling so it is like a huge crater and let the sun fill in. That is how to spawn slimes, low level but lots of light, which is kinda ridiculous.

    You know what'd be cool a edition in AdventureCraft? A bit more puzzles and blocks. My first suggestion is the:

    "Grappling Hook"

    can latch onto Grapples that are wooden cylinders that allow the player to swing across a distance of area outreach.
    •Can use grapple hooks when falling? No.
    ^ Following that note, hook-shots should be available to shoot when falling.

    "Extra Slippery Ice"

    block. The block is kind of self explanatory, it's extra slippery than a normal block of ice. But how much? Well 3x more slippery than the original ice blocks, thus making it very useful for Ice Dungeons.

    "Elemental Monsters/Bosses"

    Elemental Monsters is self-explanatory, again. I will give brief explanations on each monster/boss. The attack strength for all monsters/bosses are based on hard. The mod needs a ton more monsters for different elements/dungeons consist of a variety of monsters. Some suggestions are

    Large Scorpions (Boss type)

    •Looks like Desert Scorpion
    •Is 10x3x1 Volume = (LxWxH) (I'm not gonna really get into the tail description, because it can't really be explained easily, along with it's feet and it's pincers)
    •In it's given environment (Sand) it can burrow and attack you (It can not be attacked underground and when it reappears on the surface the sand should still be in place - When it's underground, shadowed sand hints where it is)
    •Has 25 Health Points
    •Deals 3 heart damage with basic pincer attack, 6 hearts with the burrow attack and injects poison which deals 1 heart damage every 3 seconds for 5 times.

    Kraken (Super Boss type)

    •Is 21x21x15 Volume = LxWxH
    •Looks like the Kraken from this photo (On your part, you do not have to add small details like the neck muscles and etc; based on you)
    •Has tentacles that are 11x3x3
    •The tentacle flashes/glows yellow for 5 seconds before it strikes (Effect = Water splashes)?
    •Tentacle strike damage is 10 hearts on hard and where it strikes has a radius of 7 in any direction, much like TNT
    •Breaks boats (Still does damage)
    •It's entire body (Excluding eyes) is immune to regular attacks (Swords and bow and arrows)
    •It's eyes are it's weakness and can be hit the Bow and Arrows
    •Has 20 hearts

    Goblin (Monster)

    •Looks like the Goblin from RuneScape :smile.gif:
    •Deals 2 heart damage per strike
    •Has 5 Life Points
    •Is not affected by sunlight

    Large Goblin (Monster)

    •Looks like General Graardor from RuneScape
    •Pretty hard to describe the dimensions of the monster
    •Pounds and punches you with it's incredible fists
    •Deals 5 heart damage (On hard, which all of this is based upon)
    •Has 10 hearts

    Brute (Monster/Boss)

    •Has a really good build and a chunky body
    •Wields an Iron maul with a black grip-tape
    •Wears Mystic Tech Diamond Armour dyed with an Iron color to make it seem like it's Iron (From PainterlyPack)
    •Deals 7 heart damage per strike
    •Attack moves = A simple swing of the maul which has a radius of 2 blocks, and a pound attack - Which is like pounding a nail will a hammer, but with 2 hands of the Brute on the maul [Pretty complex explaining human-like attacks :wink.gif:]
    •Has 20 hearts (All armour is destroyed on or below the 10 Heart mark
    •Is immune to fire attacks while armour is on & can be frozen (With ice rod and sword)

    Adventure NPC's

    Basically this is an NPC that will help you, follow and venture with you through dungeons and boss battles. They can talk, be attacked (Killed), dressed (You dress it with armour by Right-Clicking it in Adventure Mode, but in Debug mode, there shall be a and a new item in the Palette called ANPC Stick, (Adventure NPC Stick) When clicked on the ground it will make a Character named new ANPC. ANPC's can be killed and if you die, they - Or how ever many you shall spawn - Will ReSpawn along with you. To make them follow you there shall be a new Block called the ANPC Block. To configure it, Right click it with the cursor (Debug Mode) It will have many Command Options, like: "Follow ACPlayer", "Hit ACPlayer", "AttackACPlayer", "AttackMonster", "AttackBoss" and "DepartACPlayer". I will get more into depth in a later post.

    I am still thinking of other Monsters, Bosses, ANPC Command Options and Blocks to suggest.

    Hello fellow Minecraftians, I'm gonna get straight into the topic. Would you or would you not like Controlled TNT to help you clear land or demolish structures in Minecraft? The basic point of this object is to blow up anything you don't want, but in a fashionable order. It would explode in a customary way, in the formula of Volume = LxWxH. Then again, you would get to pick the coordinates of the area being demolished.

    NOTE


    • The controlled TNT has a maximum of 10 explosion radius in any direction on the formula of Volume = LxWxH (3 more blocks than original TNT)
    • You CAN set 1/3 or 2/3 parts of the formula (LxWxH) to the minimum, 0 - BUT, you CANNOT put all of the options to zero, that move is invalid
    • Controlled TNT will still do damage (Health-wise)
    • Controlled TNT is still affected by gravity
    • Will have impact underwater

    The formula for crafting Controlled TNT is only SLIGHTLY different from normal TNT and the Fomula picture is in this tinypic link: "Controlled TNT Crafting Formula"

    Now, let's roleplay a situation to clear out some bumps.

    You place the TNT
  • You set the explosion radius (Volume = LxWxH) by right clicking the Controlled TNT (Picture pending)

  • Therefore, with all that said, I conclude my suggestion and I leave you to a poll which I hope you take the time to completely partake in.
