Hello, I'm B3amz, or DragYou. I've been on hiatus for video making for awhile, and I thought I'd share my video I made around last summer. I'm not sure if any of the info is outdated, but I doubt it is as I still use most of the stuff found.

Just keep in mind, THESE ARE NOT REAL HACKS. I had some people who made that mistake on my video before :P

posted a message on Need a laptop that will run minecraft maxed out 50 fps or 60 fps
Well, since some of these answers are downright stupid when giving a proper answer, I'll chip in here best I can.

First rule on buying a decent Minecraft PC: Avoid laptops, and avoid Macbooks/Mac minis. They usually don't give the best power for their price, especially laptops. But since you are don't seem to be changing your mind about getting a desktop, I guess I'll give you some ideas.

Finding something with a decent processor would be a start, so somewhere around an i5 processor would be good. I doubt you would be finding a decent i7 laptop for under $800.
Next thing is memory (RAM). I'd say you shouldn't be needing too much since I am able to run Minecraft maxed out with 4gb on my desktop quite easily, but I'm not sure if this would transfer for laptops. Let's just say 4-8gb will be good.
Next thing is the graphics card. One thing you ALWAYS want to avoid when finding a decent laptop for any type of game is an integrated video card. They take power from the CPU, causing much more lag and often a terrible looking game. You don't need something fancy for Minecraft, but you will need something to boost it.

    My suggestions:
    ASUS F75VD-EB51, $700 (US, Newegg)
Lenovo IdeaPad Z580, $649 (US, Newegg, has Windows 8)
Acer Aspire i7 (US, Newegg, I'm terrible at describing things, Windows 8)

I hope this helped you a little bit, and have fun :D

Instead of using 12 diamonds, you could have used 100 iron pickaxes...

posted a message on Minecraft "Life Hacks"
Based off of HouseholdHacker's videos, I decided to create simple tip videos for Minecraft. Skip a week, and my video has reached 250 views (Pretty damn fast for me), so I have decided to show it here on the MC forums.

If you are too stupid to read or listen, these are not real hacks.

If you have any other simple tips for me (That's preferably possible in vanilla survival), please share. Thanks!

Despite the lack of rules, I think the idea is that there is still the survival element to the gameplay; so you can punch down trees, craft tools/weapons etc.
For instance, at the spawn in Iron you are given a tree and a wall of stone; punch the tree, grab some stone, make your way out of the spawn.

    Hope this is correct? :D

    Right on the nose.

Edit: Update coming up this week or next week. <3

Many people play this map but don't wanna create iron golems, because it's actually kind of a waste of resources. There's a limited amount of iron, and you'll want to keep the iron for when you actually need it on the other islands. Creating an army of iron golems is a pretty bad idea. If you're skilled at killing mobs, iron golems shouldn't really be needed.

I admit, I was not very bright with that review, but when you have enough iron to build a small house, I think an iron golem or two won't hurt at all.

    Also: Thread Update
Edit: DAMN. I think I have the retrospective of Kinglau3's map saved as a draft somewhere on my blog... Sorry bud =(

Wow, I have a lot to show you guys...

Freefall Tournament - http://www.kongregate.com/games/freerangegames/freefall-tournament (Requires Unity Web Player, Very slow loading time)
A third person shooter built in Unity, it's VERY fast and is class based, somewhat like Tribes.

    Karma Online - karmacp.joymax.com (Download)
A very interesting FPS shooter. If I had to describe it, it would probably be a mix of Counter Strike and the classic Call of Duty. You have old guns and new guns, and there are some very interesting characters. I have been following this game for awhile, but I have no played it in a couple of months.

Worst Pong Game Ever - http://www.kongregate.com/games/EmoChicken/worst-pong-game-ever
Literally the worst pong game EVER, the "Try again" button doesn't even work.

Box Life - http://www.kongregate.com/games/tequibo/box-life (Requires Unity Web Player)
3D Metroidvania game. You are in a box. Not much else to say.

    Sky Conquerer Review

    Forum Link: Here
    Type: Adventure/Survival

    Creativity
The design of this map is simple, just some floating chunks with some spawners which you survive in. The basic goal is to survive and get to the end, which could not be any simpler. The caves are varied so it doesn't seem like you are going into a small corridor every time you enter a different cave's island, and each island has a different biome which is a very nice touch.

    Score: 8/10

    Effort
Looking at the date, I'm surprised one person could be going at a map for this long, but alas, he has. The map was created before Skyblock and was made in late August, and I was still requested to review this map. The map was even noted in game, showing how many resources are at each island (But I doubt I will need over 3000 pieces of redstone)

    Score: 10/10

    Difficulty
Sadly, this is the downside of this map. Yes, it is nice to survive on this piece of land. What is that? Survive? Well, it's kinda hard to have the survival element in the game when you have enough pieces of iron to create enough iron golems to populate a small city.
Overall, this doesn't hurt the experience too much. I just wish it wasn't so bad to the point that my snow-iron golem army didn't over populate and start falling off edges.

    Score: 7/10

    End Deal
Shorter review this time, and I HIGHLY suggest this map for anyone who wants a nice relaxing time with friends, as you have enough items for everyone that no one has the rights to get mad at the people who have full iron. The secrets really add to this map, and basically finding all of the chests is what kept me at it for so long. I didn't even make it to the end.

    Final Score: 8.5/10

Hi, my map is in my signature. It is a survival map, but it's also completable. I like to call it a survival map, but it has a bit of adventure in it. I don't believe it should take you too long to review. If you don't want to review it, that's fine.

Will do. Added to the cue. May take awhile (As survival maps are not my slice of life...)

    My Blogging Website: http://dyreviews.blogspot.com/

I am now accepting all content, including maps, mods, and texture packs. Have one to submit? Post a link and a quick briefing below (Or a Screen shot for texture packs please)

I will be posting a shorter review on this thread, and have a full, detailed version on my blog and on Youtube if all possible.

UPDATE: Sorry for not posting for awhile. Exams and school are a tough time of the year for me but the year is finally over and my schedule is free so now it is time to start reviewing again! I had to re-clear the cue again, so sorry... Again, and I am going to change the way I will be reviewing my maps as it didn't always feel thorough. Expect reviews coming up later tonight and tomorrow!

What I will be looking for in MAPS:

Creativity: How does your map match up with others in its genre? Is it in its own league or is it just another knock-off?

Building Style: Is it made with nothing but cobblestone, or is it a architect's fantasy?

Effort: Did you pour your heart into this project or did you treat it like a lonely pumpkin?

Story (For some maps): Is it some poorly written story that you wake up with amnesia or it is a all-out epic tale of a man coming from mars? (That was a terrible example)

Difficulty: Kirby or Dark Souls? Also, the map will have to be playable or completable to get a rating, if not, you will be receiving a 0, unless it is a survival map, or you mentioned it is not completable.

What I will be looking for in MODS:

Creativity: Knock-off or good enough to be a bought DLC?

Content: Just a new NPC or loads of new NPCs? One button or an array of buttons?

Support/Updates: Is there many bugfixes and updates?

What I will be looking for in TEXTURE PACKS:

Style: Classic full block or random assortment of textures?

Flow: Does it hurt the eyes or can it be a nice ride?

Creativity: Re-used textures or 100% custom?
