    Well I couldn't reproduce the white texture bug on my pc last night, no matter what I tried. My pc has 32gb of ram however, and I'm using a NvidiaGTX 1080, perhaps the bug is due to a memory leak and my pc won't reach that out of memory bug

    journeymap developer would like to know if the white texture bug is fixed by deactivating the map (Pressing Ctr-J)
    If anyone with the white texture bug could test that, it will be appreciated.

    I've updated the mod to version 10.0.2

    -positively fixed game crashing bug on Aquatic animals. or not?
    -fixed game crashing bug with aquatic.getPetName function
    -fixed tiny creatures appearing with the summon command


    I'm working on fixing the white texture bug when using journeymaps. I have been in contact with the journeymap developer, and we're trying to figure it out.

    thank you. very helpful. Now I know it is not due to the size of the textures, as I see white textured bears with the issue.

    the hell rats have switching textures on the code to make a small animation.

    would you mind checking if:
    any of the aquatic creatures have the issue?
    any of the ambient creatures (insects) has the issue
    is there any terrestrial creature where you don't get white texture problem?

    perhaps you can test creating a new world in creative mode and using the eggs to see which creatures give you the white texture error. Also, could you share what other mods are you using??

    Thanks for the input. The hardest bugs to squash are the ones that we can't reproduce all the time. I've never seen the white texture bug, but I only test with Vanilla + MoCreatures.

    I installed MoC 10.0.1 and restarted my server, started my client with OptiFine, found a WildHorse not far from my home, it was solid white. Verified anisitropic filtering and anisotropic anti-aliasing were both turned off. Stopped my client, removed optifine, restarted my client, looked at the same horse, and it was brown; took a couple steps which happened to put the horse behind a tree; when I came around the other side of the tree the same horse that was just brown was now solid white again. Then I stopped my client, re-enabled optiFine, re-enabled KUDA Shader; I'm standing looking at the same WildHorse now and it is resolutely brown. Encountered three ents on the way back to my house, and they were all three solid black.



    Oh, and as I was paddling in the ocean checking for aquatic life, a shark bit me on the ass. Because sharks are like that.

    Are bears showing white textures? (I changed the bear textures to supposedly fix the white texture error with them)

    -bunnies can be tamed again
    -small creatures can be picked up again
    -fixed light blue kitty bed icon
    -fixed amulets and fish nets
    -BigCats move faster
    -fixed bug with inventories of BigCats, Horses
    -fixed bug with entities moving sideways
    -fixed duplicating item bug when using item on off hand
    -fixed animation bug with aquatic entities receiving damage
    -Bears can now be tamed by giving meats to cubs
    -Bears can now be ridden and given chests
    -Split bears into separate entities
    -Split ogres into separate entities
    -medium fish were split into separate entities
    -small fish were split into separate entities
    -hybrid big cats are now separate entities
    -sorted eggs



    There are no pending bugs that I'm aware off, except for the white textures triggered by using optifine and enabling anysothropic filtering. Fixing that bug means redoing many of the textures and models.


    Please kindly report back if you find any new bugs.

    All but one of the fishy eggs are the wrong color, they hatch the same type of fish the egg came from but they are named colors that arent even close to what they are, here is a list i made:



    Regal blue tang surgeon fishy = Orange fish egg


    Red fishy = Red fish egg


    Yellow fishy = Striped fish egg


    Orange & white striped fishy = Cyan fish egg


    Purple fishy = Yellow fish egg


    Black, white & yellow striped fishy = Blacky fish egg


    Orange & blue stripey top fishy = Yellowy fish egg


    Light blue with light and dark blue scales fishy = Greeny fish egg


    Green fishy = Purple fish egg


    Greeny yellow with orange & black top fishy = Green fish

    Regardless, I am experiencing the same crashes. DrZhark is doing his best and he'll probably release a bug-fixed version very soon. That bug seems like a relatively easy one to fix, from what I can tell.

    I think you're right. I have fixed both crash inducing bugs, or at least I think they're fixed. I haven't been able to reproduce the crashes after the fix

    I'll release an update soon, but I want to split some creature groups before doing so: bears, wraiths, ogres, fish. So they have their individual eggs and spawning conditions. I'm also adding a small change to the bears.
