REDUCED deathbans, not a crazy amount though. At best basic supplies. food. wood. for high teir maybe AN extra life. Basically nothing that ruins the "fight to survive" aspect

Azmodan- Let me Clarify. I have travelled since, thats why I'm not at that spot anymore. And the portal created when I left the nether was OUTSIDE the border. Literally. I cant reach the portal to re-enter the nether. Because its OUTSIDE the border, it cant possibly be anyone elses portal. If you want to look for it, its at the 2000+ 2000+ mark, only glanced at coords, however if you follow the border you will find it.

And I left through the same portal I went in, no reason it should have had to jump 1000+ blocks to exit.
Not bitching or anything, just clarifying@thech111-Server is currently down, or was last I checked, I assume for the updating. However soon as its up, I'll refresh whitelist. Lol relax, I just did it last night, so it couldnt be far behind XD A few hours tops

I dont see any reason to help new players, honestly.

Survival is the name of the game. If they arent clever enough to get some cacti, dig a hole, and pray for the night, they will learn.

However, ensure the spawn is protected, for new players who spawn there at night.

PRO TIPS FOR NEW PLAYERS

• Get cacti first-This will be your only defence untill you find supplies
• BE PREPARED FOR NIGHT-Dont wait till its already dark. You see that sun going down, find shelter fast
• 1x1 hole surrounded by cacti!-Dig, and prey.

Also, one last thing. BE CAREFUL WHEN TRAVELING - Fall damage is the number one killer. Either outright death, or getting your health so low anything else will kill you.


IMO, I think its a good thing and I vote for no changes to accomodate new players.

I'm sure this isnt a bug you can do anything about, probably general MC glitch, but heres my story.

I made a portal, and went into the nether. Explored a bit, then exited my same portal.

I experienced 30-45 seconds of intense lag. Next thing I know, I am at the border. 1000+ blocks from where I went in. (guesstimate)

And my nether portal I came out, was on the OTHER SIDE of the border, so I cant even reach it.

Very odd event XD
So now stranded god knows where, with a sheet full of unmarked-poorly marked coords, and not 100% sure where my base is lol.
But yeah, no reason I should have cane out miles away. Very odd

Well. Tried /killcount zombie, and it just killed me.. Wasnt aware that was going to happen...

maybe you should disable that command for reg peeps if it kills them

1. Why do you want to be an administrator on the Exile / Pandemonium server(s)?
I enjoy this server quite a bit, and would like to help ensure it remains fair, as the survival aspect becomes distored when some players cheat their way to an advantage.

2. Why would you rather admin than play on the server?
Because I'd rather help ensure everyone has a fair chance, and other players arent "stealing" valuable resources, or cheating to find and destroy a player shard work in attaining and maintaining a base.

3. Do you have any previous leadership experience?
Well, I've led groups on this server a few times and been pretty sucessful, I'm often helping new players either with tips, or giving them a few supplies to help them when I come across new people, I think that can be construed as leadership in a way. Alternativley, I'm often leading squads on Battlefield 3, and while different, I help us achieve out goals.

4. What is your favorite part of your experience on this server?
There is a number of aspects I love about this server. First off is the danger. Players on this server can and will be vicious. The mobs are more then your run of the mill enemies. Getting yourself to a comfortable surviving state takes real work and effort. Overall the feel and gameplay is unique compared to other servers I've played on. Every found resource gives you greater joy and appriciation then any other server I've ever tried.

5. What time zone are you in?

6. Please share anything else that you feel would be helpful in review.
I love this server, because it manages to retain the survival aspect, while being unique. I've not come across a server as much fun and as addicting as this one. I think its a great experiance, and I'd even mor eenjoy helping other players enjoy their own experiences. I've only killed ONE person here, every other time I've met someone, I've either partnered with them, or outright given them supplies. I'm a helpful person. And I think I could be an asset to ensure fair play and general enjoyment on Exile :smile.gif:
