I think my "I give up" comment was taken far more seriously than I intended.

I figured that it wasn't meant seriously.. I just have a really low tolerance for pointless negativity, to the point that I usually avoid internet communications with strangers at all costs.

You'll obviously not be able to please everyone, just keep doing what you're doing. :Diamond:

Very much this. Especially since this is made for your own amusement and not for money. There's nothing to really lose by doing it how you want to do it, and you'll be much happier with it that way. :Notch:

Frenden, if I might make a small suggestion... I honestly love the skull icon for the bones. It's much more bad-ass than the stereotypical femur bone. But... it doesn't make as much sense as a femur for giving to wolves to tame them. That's a very minor deal, of course (there's lots of stuff in Minecraft that doesn't make sense), but it's something to consider at any rate. :smile.gif:

    4. I changed the extension to .zip

I think that's the issue there. As far as I know, simply renaming a file from .rar to .zip doesn't actually make it a zip file. You need to compress it as a zip file from the start. :smile.gif:

I endorse the 64x/128x pack. There are lots of 64x/128x packs, but most of them are of the "realistic" variety which I can't stand. I would love to have a complete*, stylized, hand-drawn pack of that size.

*There are a handful of stylized packs of that size already, but none I've seen are complete because they still have the default item icons and/or mobs.

There will be side grass. The lack of it is just temporary - again, a LOT of this is placeholder, but it IS a good indication of where things are going.

I figured it was temporary but I thought I'd put my $0.02 in anyway. :smile.gif: Thanks for the preview, and if it's a good indication of where it's going, it's going somewhere great! :Diamond:

I love the wooden planks and dirt textures, and the new creeper looks as great as it did in the screens.

Is the lack of sidegrass going to be permanent? I know it's annoying that the sidegrass doesn't change color to match the topgrass, but having no sidegrass at all looks worse than slightly mismatched color IMO.

I'm really excited about this pack. :biggrin.gif: The first texture pack I ever used was your cartoon pack, and I absolutely adore it, and I used it for a long time exclusively. Recently I've been using some more detailed 16p packs (though the install that my nephew plays on still uses the cartoon pack), so this pack looks like it might give me the best of both worlds.

The terrain textures look great, but that creeper is just ssssspectacular. :SSSS: I can't wait to see the rest of it!

Noted. I've never mussed with the note blocks to know!

I see what you did there! :Notch:

The update looks great, Frenden. And I have to say that I'm really excited about the 16p/32p hybrid pack. That creeper looks AMAZING. :Diamond:

Only issue with the pack is that lava and water [not sure on water] are Grey block representation's of what they should be.

    Quote from Wayuki »
NOTE: I recommend that you install this pack with an unpatched version of Minecraft. If you want to use the HD patcher, make sure to UNCHECK custom water and lava. Otherwise, the water and lava will show up as a solid beige color.

Should be an easy fix, though. Running the HD Texture Fix again and uncheck custom water and lava. If that doesn't work, force Minecraft to update (in the new launcher, that's done by clicking Options on the launcher then clicking Force Update!) and redo the patch with custom water and lava unchecked. :smile.gif:

Maybe its because I use Google Chrome but I know thats wrong.

I have Chrome and have never had any issue with downloading it. I'm not sure what's causing it, but I don't think the browser would be to blame. :smile.gif:

I love the icons and the HUD! Seeing it released was a nice surprise this morning. :Notch:

Is it my imagination or is the wood a little lighter in 1.1 than in 1.0?

I really like the wolf textures. The eyes being two different colors is a very nice touch!

I'm not too sure on the crows-as-chickens, though. I like them and they look wonderful, don't get me wrong. It's just that once you get near them and they start clucking like a chicken it ruins the illusion.
