I'm looking for a mod that will allow me to make any block in the game to emit light -- OR if that isn't available an invisible glow stone.
Taking this idea a step further even, is there a mod to make anything in the game glow, even if it's not a "block", like water glow like lava, etc?
I'm not sure if this is a mod or something I can easily use the console to produce. I'm just using creative mode at the moment, so I don't necessarily need something that will allow me to craft these blocks, just have them ready to use.
Just wanted to post here in case anyone else did what I did when I couldn't get the game to launch at all when trying to use the Shaders Mod 1.7.5. I started with a fresh install of Minecraft 1.7.5 today and followed along with JohnnyBrando's detailed instructions.
What I did incorrectly was put .jar into the name of the .jar file (because I needed to do this with the .json file) and that is the only reason why the game wouldn't launch.
So: put .json into the name of the .json file but DO NOT PUT .jar onto the .jar file and you should be okay.
