Can't wait to start seeing the construction, all the best!
Wow! Wonderful feedback and I haven't even finished editing the post. I am currently setting up an Imgur album and a twitter account devoted to my projects. Please see the updated post shortly for more information!
In the first edition of my Major Project series, I have found the absolute perfect spot to start off. I am calling it "Corazon de la Selva", otherwise known as "Heart of the Jungle". By the look of it, you will see why I have called it this.
Starting this new 'Screenshot Series' in newly updated 1.2; I felt a jungle was the right place to start.
The 'Major Projects' series will mostly be a blog, but I will provide tips for building and surviving. Seeing as this will be played in a SURVIVAL setting, resources and shelters are going to be required through out the building process. This adds a difficulty in which most of my time will be spent collecting, but also will be spent crafting tools, building shelter, and fighting the scary creatures of Minecraft.
Pre-Historic Tab
The Pre-Historic tab will be used for discoveries made that have not yet been developed. It is also helpful to have for people that are joining in after the production stage has begun.

Is it bad that I have more diamonds than iron right now?
Oh well. I'm not complaining!
The Production Tab
This is the main tab, it will be in use after more discoveries are made, and when much more resources are collected.

NONE YET!

To effectively reach 'The End' and kill the dreadful dragon, it is not recordable on how many of each resource will be needed. It is dependent on luck mostly, how many iron, gold, and diamonds you find for weapons. Many like to bring stacks of arrows, therefor getting lucky with a skeleton spawner would be greatly helpful. Also, your distance to the portal can be based on luck, some may have to travel for DAYS, using up wood and whatnot for shelters.
Again, the amount of resources is not recordable due to the luck factor.
I would have voted for 'Angry Wolves', but that wasn't an option.
So I went with those Skeleton Archers. They always seem to jump shot me out of nowhere, and then go into a state of hiding until I turn back around, so they can jump shot me again!
I don't really die that often anymore, I have realized how to avoid all of the monsters tactics for assassination now.
I have recently seen a few pictures of peoples worlds, looking like a full map. I would love to see a map of my world.
I am thinking of starting a building, screenshot blog in the Screenshots section of the forums, for this, I would like to circle out the areas of each settlement on a map.
Keep going, around the mountain is more mountains, a rivine, few caves, and more trees.
Might be hard to find dogs, which is what I need.
EDIT:
OH MY!
This seed is amazing! I have major plans for this. The first and the second mountain you come across are hallowed out rings, with a nice lakes at the bottom, it's insane!
If this is the default textures, then the more distant player has been turned up-side down.
You can tell this by the stone bricks. Normally, the larger brick, on top, has a lighter shading along the top, such as it does next to the player in the top left. If you look closely at the furthest player, the shading is located at the bottom.
Small request FC; now we have a recipe turning BTW gears into wooden ones, any chance you could make the reverse true? Twice now I've mistakenly managed to craft a full stack of (useless) BC wooden gears and...well, you get the idea.
Funny you mention this, I have recently done this same thing. Seeing as I am very early on in my BTW, BC, and BTB experience, I don't think it will matter all that much, I don't even know what to do with them.
Also, I am having trouble with a recipe. I can't figure out the recipe for a Detector Block, I was informed that they could protect my gear boxes getting power from a windmill, but I haven't a clue how to craft one.
I have been using both the thread and the Wiki as a guide, but I feel that both of them put together provides a large part of the items, but not nearly all of them.
I find it difficult to come up with some of these crazy, elaborate recipes, without looking at a guide.

Eventually, when major progression has occurred, I will be posting screenshots of my town. I have insane plans for it!
Thanks for the inspiration,

Yes, precisely like that. Thank you so much, I think this will work out perfectly!

Does anyone know how to get this?
