I'll make a new world, since I really need all those new biomes. I'm just sad to let it go, since my current survival world was from 1.0, and I was planning to keep it until 2.0.
The deep ocean is a pretty normal biome now, but it's a bit rarer than the normal ocean, so I don't know why your getting tons of them. But, how is this a problem anyway?
Can you be a little more descriptive? But...If they where added, I think they change/rotate about every 25 minecraft days, since there are 365 days in a year...then divide that buy all that 20 minecraft day minutes and stuff.....math...
Why the "twicez here" thing? I can see your name above the picture perfectly fine. Anyway, back to topic: the only way I can find a way to fix it is to download all those mods myself. Since I'm not going to do that, It's probably just some file conflicts between all those mods. No one can be sure without poking around in the files anyhow.
A working wheel. I need to get to the other side of my ocean. Btw, are you actually building any these suggestion? Because I don't see any of your replies.
Baby zombie pigmen/baby zombies where added in 1.4. If a baby villager gets killed by a zombie, they can turn into baby zombies. But, for the zombie pigman baby, you can't get them unless you spawn/hack them in somehow. Kinda like the zombie and skelaton horses in 1.6.
I've been pretty excited for Minecraft 1.7. After hearing of all the new biomes, the interesting new world generation, and new fishing adaptations, I was pretty pumped. So I've been keeping up with the snapshots (or trying to at least) and as far as biomes go, I'm a little less than pleased, to put it lightly. Each time I play one of the snapshots, my worlds generate with only 3 or 4 biomes to speak of... every. single. time... I get into creative and fly around and all I find are a few types of forests and an occasional extreme hills biome. Now be aware that I've generated probably hundreds of new worlds seeking better results. Unfortunately these tests were futile, and only yielded the very same results. When the new snapshot was released, I started it up expecting that maybe I would have a different experience. But, no I did not. I still only find forests...
I was really looking forward to the new redwood biomes, the mesa biomes, or even the ice spikes biomes. I haven't gotten that opportunity yet, however. I have many questions... Is there an explanation for this? Is anyone getting common results? Am I the only one with this problem? Could it be due to a glitch with the "hot/cold" biome separation?
I hope that this isn't what we have to look forward to. If that's the case, then I'll just stick with 1.6.4. On the other hand, if anyone might be able to explain this, I'd be more than happy to hear you. I will also mention that checking the development console during world generation, I noticed a huge stack overflow, but it never affects the game's performance. I'm wondering if it might have something to do with the world generation though. Nobody has been able to answer this yet. Thank you!
The biomes generate like this, and it's not a glitch. They wanted more realistic biome placement, so now biomes generate with similar ones next to them. Most are kinda like mountain/plain/forest/etc.... or deserty ones, like desert, savanna, mesa...
