A brilliant mod, and i know it is far from done. But, if you ever get the time would you consider trying to make the wires compatible with more pistons, as it stands right now you can't place wires on the more pistons, pistons. But, you can place them on the normal piston.
Greetings i'm Origin, and recently i have taken an interest in your mod. It is a Brilliant/Well balanced mod with so much to offer, and i can't get enough of it. But, unfortunately i have noticed throughout my testing is that the ores don't seem to generate when working with any kind of biome based mod. Specifically in this case [Biomes'o'Plenty]. I know this mod is still a work in progress. But, i was wondering if you guys would ever considered making a compatibility with it, and I love both of these mods, and I believe they would work brilliantly with one another, and plus [Biomes'o'Plenty] has quite the following and is rather popular, so, it might be a worth while expedition for you guys to look into and attempt.
Noted: I am well aware the introduction was not needed; I'm just weird. xD
An interesting and fun concept you have here. Personally I believe gases in the nether should be invisibly present at all times in the nether causing the players hunger bar to deplete at 1.25x faster speed. Gases that are located in the nether would spawn in various different locations, but can mainly be seen in two locations, and that is next to, and above lava pits, and behind deposits of glowstones.
The gases that are produced by the lava come in a much stronger form of the current gas, known as Sulfur dioxide. While the gases that reside behind glowstone are more known as an Anesthetic Gas. The constant mixture of these two gases is what causes the natural breakdown in the nethers surrounding air, which causes the players body to go into an overdrive state, causing them to become easily famished.
Items:
You could easily use these three gases in a various of fun and evil ways. Such as making sulfur gas come out of furnaces if player smelts at an overly high rate, and this would simply give you an excuse to make your own furnace item that controls and regulates the gases that are released from the furnace. Using your bottle thing, you could allow players to try and trap burning gases, and this could be used in a various assortment of items.
Eternal Lantern:
Made by using a bottle of burning gas, regular lantern, and a gold ingot. Gives a small light boost.
Ghastly Lantern:
Made by using 2 bottles of burning gas, a eternal lantern, 4 netherbrick, and two ghast tears.
The surrounding area is given more light, and it can be thrown at an enemy and it will set them on fire. The lantern can be picked back up at any time. Has 250 uses.
Infernal splash:
Mixing burning gas, anesthetic gas, and sulfur gas.
Makes an infernal splash potion that when thrown creates a wave of fire that burns all enemies in front of it, and expands out a distance of 10 blocks and 5 blocks wide. The fire dispersal rate is quick, and it won't set fire to anything other then the mobs.
Anesthetics Painkiller:
Made by using 3 refined anesthetic gas, and bone meal.
Has one use. But, gives the player temporary bonus stat. The player can't be knock-backed, and even with lack of hunger, air, or even when on fire the player will not be affected by the tick effects. This doesn't make them invincible, this just makes them oblivious to the pain. Duration: 2 minutes.
Anesthetics Injection:
Made by using 2 refined anesthetic gas, 4 iron, and 2 glass.
Has one use. But, gives the player temporary bonus stat. Lowers the amount of hunger lost when sprinting, and allows them to sprint even when their hunger is below 3 bars. Duration: 3 Minutes.
Gases:
Anesthetic Gas:
When exposed to the player their body starts to shutdown and their movements begins to slow at increase pace, and with continuous exposure, or constant interaction with this gas over a set period of time, would cause the persons vision to increasingly withdraw giving them blindness.
Sulfur Gas:
This gas is extremely toxic. Exposure to this gas would instantly affect the players, causing them to tighten up, reducing their defenses, and their attacks. Continious exposure to this gas would eventually start to effect the players directions, and eventually lead to death. Even when not directly exposed in the gases field lingering effects would still hold for a while.
Burning Gas:
This gas is fast, painful, and random. Exposure to this gas would instantly damage the player with anywhere from 3 - 6 hearts, and would instantly cause the player to be set on fire. Generally this gas is random and will spontaneous combust in random areas all around the nether in small 2 by 3 - 3 by 5 radius areas. However, this gas cloud of fire can be ignited by simply having a ghast strike near a pool of lava, or towards block of glowstone. When the gas is set off from an explosion it will erupt into a chain reaction igniting the entire air in a 15 by 15 radius. Mind your surroundings little ones.
Hopefully this helps, i apologize if its a little ignorant. I haven't actually tried the mod, yet. I just got inspired after reading the front page, and this didn't take me very long to write anyways. So, don't feel bad about insulting it.
This has probably been requested before, and i know modders hate when people request. But, I believe it would be really interesting to see some kind of chair being implemented in this mod. I have all these fancy tables. But, no chairs to go with them. xD
I love this mod, but i can't seem to run it on a server. Is there a reason for that? Any quick, and easy way to fix it? and before you ask, yes, i do have the core mod installed. =3
I unfortunately have very little knowledge about JDK, but apparently it's extremely difficult to put on any kind of server. xD
