Hopefully I'm missing something, but the lighting on PS3 appears to have its minimum value raised slightly, not for a performance reason I'm guessing, but more than likely to make the game more accessible. Being able to see your surroundings in a cave without a light source is pretty disappointing, and night time on the surface looks as dark as when it's raining during the day on PC. This change has taken away any sense of fear I had (which is the most exciting part of this game for me on PC) for exploring and has made it a mindless and forgiving exercise.
