Just a silly, random idea I had.
Maybe if Gulliver detects Little Blocks is installed (it can do that, right?) and if the world option whihc you would add is selected, it would generate micro villages and micro dungeions and micro temples all with micro mobs! Sounds like it would be fun.

    Just a quick question, UM.
With this next release, are you planning on beginning development on Gulliver Extras? I'm super excited to see what you have planned.

    FEATURE REQUEST:
I'll keep this one simple. Crouching actually changes hitbox? It'd be cool if a slightly-bigger-than-normal person could crouch over to get into a 2-block gap, for example.

Thanks so much for being so awesome, and making your mod the same, UM!

Thanks for the well-wishes, guys :) Also, thanks for helping answer questions in the thread while I've been away. I'm doing better enough now to try to cover some of the problems people are having, and hope to be back to the actual code before much longer.

    ...
    Now, get lost. :Zombie:

    OH MY GOD, NO.
I am so sorry UM, I didn't mean for it to sound harsh or intrusive.
Here's the story. I have Asperger's syndrome, and sometimes I obsess about things. I can't help it; for instance, when my father says something along the lines of 'if you ask for it again, you're not getting it', I nearly go into a state of dementia. I am very sorry for doing this to you, or making you feel uncomfortable.

You are one of my my favorite modder, and I hope I can make it up to you some how. I understand that you are firm in your beliefs, and I apologize for trying to sway you otherwise.

    A true fan,

3.She want's this to be fun for all parties and do you really think a player wants to be trapped in an inventory dimension, plus this would add an item to the game other than the two potions, and that is a none starter for UM...

5.Mods are meant to be supported by people that want to support it there for they get last say in everything UncleMion will not budge on the size limits period. She isn't doing this for us she is doing it for fun. yea 64!!!! you'll be taller than the freaking build limit. If you don't want UM to have control over how big you can get, YOU figure out how to program this mod from the ground up.

Build limit is 256 blocks, you would be slightly shorter than 128 blocks.
Also, this would also be 1/64, not just 64x.

I'm cool with plugins, but the thing is the don't exist yet. If she has the issue that she can't make the plugin mods, just add them into the core mod. I'm saying no one would care either way, but more content would be cool.

Also, an inventory dimension wouldn't necessarily add new blocks.

By the way, thank you for being a 'moderator' in this thread, answer questions where UM can't. You rock!

1: have you read the forum? It was said that that wasn't gonna be added

2: I don't think that's gonna happen to quickly, but it could happen

3: the ability to put tinies into hoppers, dispencers, and droppers is being worked on, but it was stated that there was not gonna be the ability to put tinies into the inventory

4: that would be a very tough thing to do...

5: 64?¿?¿ Realy? *facepalm* anyway this was also stated on the forums, not gonna happen

I feel like your being quite closed-minded here.
I said to give us a hard limit of 64, I never said it should be default. If a user wants to enhance their Gulliver, they can go right ahead and learn how to modify a config file. I just don't to have to write my own mod to get one thing changed about a near-perfect mod.

Why would making giants walk slower be hard? Just do something like
    if isBig=true, then applyPotionEffect(slowness.5)
    or something to that extent.

"1: have you read the forum? It was said that that wasn't gonna be added"
What, people cant change their minds, or do things differently if the fans want it? Sheesh, you must have a very boring life if every human you hang out with is like that.

"but it was stated that there was not gonna be the ability to put tinies into the inventory"
    Same as above.

    "64?¿?¿ Realy? *facepalm*"

Why the ?¿?¿? is it really that insane of an idea?

    Thanks for reading,

Since their appears to be people actually replying to comments as of late (yay!), I have a few questions, suggestions, and comments.

    1) Giant blocks. I know UM has talked about a Gulliver Extra 'addon' to the mod, but why? Why not just incorporate her ideas into the actual Gulliver, make them disable-able? Giant blocks (the opposite of Little Blocks) would be the coolest thing ever.

II) LB Compatibility. When tiny, you cannot walk through LB Doors, Trapdoors, Fence Gates, walk up Stairs, etc. UM has already added a message for using a LB bed, so there is obviously ways to mesh the two mods a little more seamlessly.

iii) More gimmicks! The thing that pulled me into Gulliver originally was all the gimmicks that would occur when sized. Paper gliders, giant footprints, the works. I feel we could have more! Here are some ideas:
    • Giant people, when walking, cause the ground to shake for < basesize 1.0.
    • Tiny people can jump into a hopper, and be fire out of a dispenser.
    • Giants can put tinies in their inventory. This would teleport them to a 'inventory dimension' until they are pulled out of the inventory again, in which they would be teleported back to the real world, in the location the giant pulled them out.
Et cetera, you get the gist.

    D) Giants walk MUCH SLOWER. This would go along with the whole "Giant people, when walking, cause the ground to shake" thing.
It'd be much more realistic if the giants had slow, powerful, earth shaking footsteps, to contrast the tinies fast pitter-patter.

[note, please read the next bullet in the style of Zero Punctuation's Yahtzee Croshaw.)

ε) And lastly, (and not just because I am running out of stupid numbering systems), and I believe most importantly, the ability to expand or contract past the current hard limit of 8x and 0.125x.
This may sound crazy at first. "Digi, you handsome, intelligent nutter!", you would say to me as I began my explanation. "How on earth could the game handle such largeness? Why would you need it? Why are you making me ask all these questions? Can you untie me now?"
I would at this point kindly explain to you, as I bludgeoned your head in with a metallic baseball bat, that the concept of this is not at all game-breaking.
Minecraft, shockingly, can handle big mobs. It's still one entity, with now more polygons than it had previously, and the game handles it as such. The lag you may experience using Gulliver is entirely your computer which you purchased sometime in 2004, back when Windows XP was the sh** and you could use the free AOL CD's you got in the mail as coasters, you had so many of the bloody things.
And even if this idea would cause user lag, guess what? It's configurable. Turn it down a :Notch: if you don't want to risk it, but letting the user choose his/her own experience makes a lot of sense, seeing as that's the point of Minecraft mods. We don't need UM (bless her) to control our game, we control our game. We play in our mines, and we craft our items. This is our game, so lets make it perfect.
I, to sum up this ridiculous rant, suggest that you allow us to adjust our limit to our pleasure, maybe giving us a reasonable limit, say 64.

    Thank you for reading this,
    ~Digi. :slime:

posted a message on [WIP] [BuildCraft/Forge] LiquidBlocks 0.1
    [PUT PRETTY PICTURE HERE LOL]

    LiquidBlocks 0.1 - A BuildCraft Addon
    by GRANTSWIM4 and DigiDuncan

    What is LiquidBlocks?
LiquidBlocks is a plugin that allows (mostly) all (currently only) vanilla blocks to be turned into liquids, and stored in tanks, buckets, capsules, etc.

    And I want this why?
It's extremely convient! Liquids flow pretty fast through pipes, and can even be teleported, meaning that it is useful for transportation, equal splitting, crafting, and more!

    Is it compatible with [mod]?
Most likely. This mod will only work with BuildCraft installed, but it will be compatible with most, if not all, variations of Tekkit that include BC. (Even the YogCraft!)

Why can't I liquify [mod item]?
Currently, in the dev version of LB, only vanilla blocks can be liquified. But if it is asked for enough, we may add support for [mod]!

    Where's the download link?
Um... get back to us on that one.

The mod is currently being developed by GRANTSWIM4 and DigiDuncan, and a public release will be available as soon as it's... available.

Can I use this in a mod pack?
Yes, please. We love it when people enjoy our mods, and getting it to more people is always appreciated. Just please credit GRANTSWIM4 and DigiDuncan, and if possible, link back to this forum thread.

Who can I credit for this amazing gift from the heavens?
The idea and concept is by GRANTSWIM4 and DigiDuncan. Java coding was 98% done by GRANTSWIM, not including the BC API and Forge. DigiDuncan did the texturing for this mod.

Please support the DigiCore by donating to [email protected]!
