Well, reading all of this was one of the saddest experiences I've had in a little while. Jagex, in my opinion, is pretty terrible. But Runescape is a good game, with some poor qualities. There's no utilitarianization, therefore many people dislike it.
On to Ace of Spades: Ace of Spades was developed since the beginning by a group of people. They were in beta for the longest time, and had plans on releasing the full game at a price anyways. Jagex, with the money, bought the game and improved upon it.
This is a multi-million dollar company you're talking about. They're professionals, not children. With this, they've also stated, promised, and sworn that they're not looking for any sort of pay to play features, but a one-pay sort of game. I've seen the screenshots, and the improved graphics seem really nice compared to what it was before. Knowing Jagex, there will be video settings with this game, so most computers should still be able to play it anyway. Why not make it more enjoyable for those with actual gaming computers?
I'm almost positive there's a search bar on all of your web-browsers. Some professional advice would be, to use it. Would you have taken even 30 seconds of research on the situation, you may have dodged such an out-pour of ignorance.
Alright, looks like I've got a smart one on my hands. Runescape is bad, 100%, and was bad before Jagex got it. The real reason why I'm hating Jagex is because of the fact that if you look at their track record, they are complete failures and have ruined every game they've bought, and Runescape is kept afloat by 6 year olds stealing there mom's credit cards. Seeing that they have a couple of dead websites and plenty of dead games on there hands, it's a safe assumption that they have learned nothing and will mess up Ace of Spades too. It's not like this is a new thing, AoS was bought a few months ago actually, it's only recently they re-designed the site and RAAAAAAAAAAGGGED many fans.
Tell me what the scariest game you've ever played was, or list them if you play a ton of horror games.
My personal favorites are:
Resident Evil 1-4
F.E.A.R
Amnesia
SCP: Containment Breach.
You've probably seen Let's Plays of these on youtube, they're damn scary. Slender isn't scary, shut up, you.
If you're making a sports game based around tennis, 3rd person is the way to go. In real tennis you have to rely on your ability to tell where your hands are without seeing them, which I believe would be a problem in first person. However, in third person, it could make it easier because you would be able to track the ball's movements.
I enjoy Dead Frontier and SCP Containment Breach. The first one is an MMO game, free to play, with no pay-to-win , with a giant game world, monsters, guns, but it's kind of hard to get into. Once you do get into it, you'll be on the road to success in no time. The second is a free horror game, purposed around scaring the living daylights out of you, scarier than Amesia. Give it a try for sure, you'll see me in the credits for providing some textures.
I played roblox back in it's golden days. It was much more mature but, uh now, it's something I avoid talking about like the plague. I throw up a little in my mouth when I hear other 8th graders talking about it like it is the best game ever.
My fears are legit, I don't like them doing what so far seems to be turning the game into a COD/BrickForce clone. I don't get how they would even incorporate IAPs or classes though.
