posted a message on Will my old map be compatable with the recient updates.

There has been sporadic reports of worlds being corrupted after an Update in the past, but I haven't heard anything like that happening in over a year. Doesn't mean it won't, but chances seem to be very low.

In short, the world should be fine.

However, if you update now you will get the latest version, TU35, which reportedly has issues with spawn-rates. One of the reasons I am still running TU34 (and No! you never get used to the super-sensitive Sprint controls... only tolerate it).

Reminds me of my early days when I actually looked like a punk rocker. I've since put the pyramid studs in storage, let my natural hair color grow out... now I'm just that "old guy" at the local shows drinking alone, spewing random non-sense to the young'uns.

It was never my thing, but I knew several people who were actually into the S&M lifestyle. Seeing "human dogs" was not unusual.

Because holding a $20 up to someone and having them follow you is much better.

I bet you'd enjoy being led around on a dog collar. You dirty bird, you !!

posted a message on possible console exclusives in next update?
    Quote from DinoLover42»

Actually, console exclusive features in console Minecraft will NEVER happen because all we get are the ones that are currently present in PC Minecraft (monsters, domestic livestock/pets, etc.) so exclusive features will NEVER be added to console editions. :(

This is categorically and historically incorrect. Console has features the PC does not, just not to the degree many wish it had.

no clear the memory cash, your worlds will remain intact, but if you truly care put the worlds on a portable storage device THEN delete the cash

(i`m probably spelling cash as in a "computers memory cash was deleted)

    Cache.

Just curious... you are obviously already on the internet. You didn't think to do 5 seconds of research before you misspelled the same word 4 times? Yet again I despair for the future of the human race. *sign*

You don't have any USB thumb drives?

Well, they are fairly cheap. I recommend getting a 32G or higher. Should be around 8 bucks or so. Make sure you get a plain old "USB", not a USB2 or USB3 as the xbox does not support those. It will still work, but why spend the extra money if you won't get the extra speed, right?

The drive then needs to be formatted to the console. Simply plug the drive into one of the USB slots and follow the on-screen instructions. When that's done you can now use the USB as extra storage. Move any world saves you want to keep onto the thumb-drive and then proceed with step 3 (or 4) above.

I'm Not going to reply to every comment. I'm going to read some and think about them then edit my suggestion. (: I Promise I Read Every Comment And Think About Them, Even If I Do Not Reply To Them :)

I read your updated post and it seems like nothing changed. Does that mean you're fine with a feature that would destroy a non-renewable block, as I (and a couple others) pointed out?

If so then would you be fine with a feature that would randomly turn diamond ore blocks into plain stone? Oh, right! Not realistic. Okay, how about if your penned animals died of old age? Or exposure? Make sure you give them a roof!

My point is it's not a good suggestion. I robs the player of any control (and yes! I disapprove of the enderman's ability to pick up blocks. It adds nothing to the game and only serves to be a nuisance. They don't even drop the block if they're killed!) As someone else has said, creeper blasts don't necessarily count. The player made a choice to attack the creeper (or wasn't vigilant enough to spot it) so that is the consequence. There were always measures that could have been taken to prevent the creeper from blowing. Not so with your suggestion (and endermen  ).

Whatever happens when lightning strikes sand in the real-world doesn't need to be translated into the game, especially if it upsets the balance of gameplay or actively works against player control.

    Still No Support.

I always find it laughable when people agree with a suggestion solely because it would add "realism" to the game. You know, the same game with floating blocks, undead creatures, androgynous asexual animals, and magical enchantments.

It seems they think "realism" trumps balance and/or utility. hrph!

    As for the OP:

I don't like it. I don't want a "feature" that would cause more nuisance than any supposed benefit. Sand is non-renewable, and on the limited world size of the consoles it is also semi-precious. It's bad enough I have endermen stealing sand, I don't want anything compounding the "damage control" of my deserts.

If I want glass, I'll make it myself. More likely, I'll just buy it from a villager.

    No Support!

On the other hand, Katsuro's suggestion of a "glass sculpture" is very interesting. It could form on top of the sand block (leaving it intact) and would be a really cool (and rare!) decoration. THAT I can support. Great idea!!

posted a message on Anyone else having gurdian issues ?

Apparently TU35 (the latest update) has issues with MOBS spawning. There have been complaints of low slime rates, no passive mobs, and now guardians (again?).

This is why I play offline and don't get the newest TU until I find out how stable the update is. TU35 seems to have thrown a few wrenches into the works. All you can do at this point is wait it out until the issues get fixed.

posted a message on Does anyone think Classic Crafting in Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition is pointless?
    Quote from ivyman123»
Can't do that without classic crafting. You want to make a crafting table but you only have two spruce and two oak? Well too bad, unless you are using classic crafting, which allows you to mix and match.

Console Crafting will use materials off the Hotbar first, then the inventory. It starts from the lower-right and works it's way to the left and Up. So if you want to use oak to make a piston (so you can save your spruce, for example) throw the oak on the hotbar. I think you can "mix and match" materials by putting less than the required amount of one material on the lower-right of the hotbar and as long as the other material is next in the "queue" the recipe will take the rest from that stack.

I'm not 100% sure on that last part though since I haven't used console crafting since Classic crafting came out.
