I am a little sad to hear about the texture pack :sad.gif: but the past few days I've really started to get into this mod ( which was kinda hard due to all the random crashes, hope they are fixed in this update ) and I'm soooo excited about this update :happy.gif:
Uh, any reason this crashed my other mods? TooManyItems, Optifine, and SinglePlayer Commands all seem to have been magically uninstalled when I installed this mod. No, I am not a noob, I didn't delete my minecraft files to start over, therefore losing my previous mods, they just all disappeared. Question mark?
Still confused. Looking in my minecraft.jar, and the files for TMI, SPC, and Optifine are all still in there. WTF?!?!?!
More than likely Aether has overwritten some of the classes used in your mods, making them not work. You can get TMI working if you install it after Aether. I have heard that there is a patch for SPC but I'm not sure and wouldn't know where it would be. Optifine I'm pretty sure is incompatible, but I could be wrong. Hope this helps you :smile.gif:
as our post-newyear teaser, could we get a % of how finished you feel these features are? :tongue.gif:
(or a breakdown of some of the more... impenetrable features, like the pedestal?)
I think a progress % is a great idea, would give us an idea of when you might update and you'd get less "update?" posts. A win-win for everyone :happy.gif:
Good to see you ( and the cute kitten ) back :smile.gif: I really hope all this NEI TMI stuff will be over soon, I can't go back to TMI, I refuse to, NEI is too amazing to ever go back to something so terribly underwhelming.
To new people who have just started installing mods don`t know how to install some mods you know like Aether it requires a heck alot of base mods that some people are not familer with yet making them crashes when they start minecraft probably because on how they don`t know on how to install it or is just confused even listening to the instructions on the Aether thread because on how less detailed the installation was and how it was showing out dated api`s (there was a special edited shock api that was built for aether BUT that was a outdated version when it was 1.7.3) and the instructions tell you to download that version (very outdated) WHEN the there was a updated version of it to 1.0.0 cause making it conflicts...
It`s not really simple to everybody you know? it`s just basics
Good video mod though!
Not everybody knows bro
I understand that when you start modding for the first time it can be hard, I remember when I first start I messed up a lot but I got the hang of it pretty quick. But when 90% of the error reports I've seen on the Aether thread have been because they forgot ShockAhPI ( which is installed the same way as all the other mods you need for Aether )
it's just stupidity at that point.
and I am NOT a bro
Good job guys, and on Christmas no less :biggrin.gif: now we don't have to listen to people say 1.0.0 aether plox. Also I have to say this THANK YOU FOR MAKING IT FORGE COMPATIBLE :happy.gif:
Does anyone else have the problem where you are doing the quest where you search the forest for 5 hours and it keeps saying you have skipped time so it stops the quest even though you haven't skipped time? I can't get past that part because of this >.<

Oh I know Modloader > ModloaderMP > Audiomod > PlayerAPI > ShockAhPI > Aether is pretty hard to follow -.-

Really? That's funny because I have damn near every mod I used before Aether working with Aether.
