Although, I live in the East Coast, and would absolutely love for Minecon to be in NY, it's probably better for Minecon 2013 to be held in Toronto/Ontario, Canada. You have to give the other countries a chance, because the other locations were just as unfair to us as to them.
Canada is the ideal place for the next Minecon, anyway. English is, for the most part, their native tongue, it would be the first Minecon in that country, and it's accessible to other countries (organized transportation).
If they held these conventions during vacation, it'd be a lot more convinent to everybody, so hopefully they can plan a little faster this time.
It would still be awesome if it was held on the East Coast.
